I never wanted to leave..-Cody Christian

Dear Cody,

Hey, I know I am probably the last person you want to hear from right now, but there are some things that you should know. What happened 6 months ago, wasn't me. He lied and manipulated you Cody. I love you and I would never hurt you. You're my world. I know you probably wont even read this far, but please come by and talk to me. I need to tell you the truth. If you still hate me after I am finished that you can cut me out of your life completely and never have to talk to me again. But please just allow me to have a little bit of time to tell you the truth. I love you Cody.

After sending the email, I sighed and leaned against my pillow. My computer dinged with a new alert and I saw that it was Cody. I opened the email and took a deep breath. 

Dear Y/N,

I can stop in for a little but I can't be too long I have a date tonight. See you soon.

My jaw dropped at the email. After about 10 minutes, I heard a knock downstairs. I made sure I looked decent and gathered my emotions together before opening the door. Upon opening said door, I saw cody standing there and my breath hitched in my throat. "Come in." I said, stepping aside so that he could pass me. After sitting in the living room for what felt like forever I finally broke the silence. "I'll make this as quick as possible. I know you have a date later." I said, taking a deep breath before starting. "I just wanna say I love you. What Zach told you was all lies. I never, ever even thought about another guy while I was with you, never mind actually cheating on you. Those pictures were from 3 years ago. His number hasn't been in my phone since me and him broke up. I hate cheating and you know that. I also know that what I am saying probably has no effect on you now what-so-ever because you've clearly already moved on. But i just need you to know the truth. And the truth is that I love you and I wouldn't mind if you wanted to move back in. I just want you to come home." I said, my voice cracking at the end. Cody leaned forward and looked at me. "I love you too." he said. "Then why don't you believe me?" I asked, letting my tears flow freely. "Because Zach was my best friend and I told him that I would never let a girl come between us. That's why I believed him over you. I never should have believed him.." he said, taking off his sunglasses. His eyes were red, blood-shot, and puffy, presumably from crying. 

"I don't really have a date later. I don't even know why I said it. But, if you don't mind, I wanna come home." he said, letting his tears flow freely as well. I nodded vigorously. "Yes Cody, you are absolutely welcome to come home." I said, rushing to the kitchen smiling, grabbing his key. "You kept it?" he asked, hugging me tightly. "Of course I did. Just in case you decided to come home." I said. His face was inches from mine now and we crashed our lips together. 

"I missed you." I said, after pulling away. 

"Ditto." he replied, kissing me again.
