I got up to my alarm clock like I do every morning, got ready in my normal clothes even though today is my 10th birthday.

When I went downstairs to my surprise instead of seeing maids in the kitchen I see my mother, Layla Hatake Heartfilia.

My mother has two last names because she was married to someone else before I was born. Dad isn't always home, so most of the time it's just me and mom.

My father, Jude Heartfilia is usually on a business trip for his company.

"Good morning mom!" I yelled as I was racing down the stairs.

"Good morning sweetie. Happy Birthday my dear Lucy!" Mom exclaims happily

"Thanks mom." I said with a smile on her face.

"Lucy I have some thing to give to you but don't open it 'till you meet HIM." Mom said.

I simply nodded 'Who is HIM' I thought to myself.

"Good now close your eyes and turn around." Mom said with a smile on her face.

I turn around and close my eyes. I can feel my mom put something around my neck and then she said, "You can turn around and opened your eyes." She said.

When I open my eyes I look down and see a locket. I clenched the locket in my hands and looked up at my mom who was smiling at me.

"Sorry I'm late I got lost on the path of life." I said (A/N You all know who uses that excuse right?😂)

"LIAR!!" My three students said in unison.
