I walk into the big home my friend owns. Wow, he actually setup this party himself. He greets me at the door. He leads me to the party room. Eighteen drunken people, and three high people. He gawks his eyes at a gentleman, who is actually very familiar. He whispers to me, "That's Louis Tomlinson." I look down. "I know, Carter." He chuckles. "Go get his autograph or something." He says. I take a deep breath and nod. I pull out my autograph book and fold it in my arm. This could be the start of something beautiful or a major mistake. I tap his shoulder. "Mr. Tomlinson-" He laughs a bit. "Call me Louis." He says. "Louis, could I have an autograph?" I ask as I raise my autograph book to his sight. He nods gently. "Six autographs?" He asks. I nod fastly. "My mother is an actress, she has quite a few close friends." He nods and signs my autograph book. "What about your father?" "My father ran away a few years ago, sir." "I'm sorry to hear about your loss." He says lowly. Maybe this could be good after all. I quickly nod. I notice what I just said a minute ago and blush. "I mean, he's always on business trips. He's a singer." "Just like me." Louis smirks. I nod my head slowly and lower my eyebrows. What is he getting at here? "He used to be a part of a boy band before I came along." He raises an eyebrow. "What's wrong with you being around?" I sigh and close my eyes. "My mother was seventeen when she became pregnant with me, yet that didn't stop her from acting. My parents were only dating at the time, and only for a month when my mother conceived me." I open my eyes and a tear falls out. "My dad called me unwanted, ruthless, little child. My mother had decided to keep me, yet my father wasn't fond of the idea. My father would go out in the mornings and come home at night, drunk, with his stupid friends." I grab the autograph book back and put it on the counter. I clench my fists. "His fans didn't find out about me until I was two years old and my mother decided to bring me to red carpet events." I take a deep breath and let a few more tears roll down my cheeks. "The worst night of my life was when my father took me to this road and tried to kill me. The paparazzi found my father and he was arrested. I was four at the time, and it took me two years to recover. I still have scars from that surgery." I say. "The doctors did everything to save me, and I remember how my mom would come to the hospital everyday and stay there hours to help me feel safe." I smile a bit. "My mother didn't come home one night. She was drunken, she was at a party. She completely forgot about her surroundings. I remember her coming the next month, clenching her stomach, and she had somewhat big of a baby bump. I found out I was going to have a little sister. She was born through c-section the same day I was supposed to come home from the hospital. I remember my mom placing her on her waist, trying to put me into the wheelchair." I burst into laughter. "The jail center called my mother and offered for me to see my father for the first time after the incident. I was so afraid when my mother agreed. I was petrified. But, when I got there, there he was, smiling and crying at the same time. I remember how I watched him wrap his arms around me. I was confused, I was lost. I didn't know what to do. My father, who had tried to kill me, was thrilled to see me. I was shocked. Then he whispered in my ear, 'I've changed, Thea. I want to start over with our relationship.' I hugged him. Then my dad saw my mom, glaring at her. 'Anna, you just ditch me and have another child? It's like you don't care that we already have a child!' My mom, the brave woman, fought back. "Well, Ricky, you tried to kill our first and now you yell at me for having another? Don't worry, this one's a mistake, and I've decided to keep her too! Children are a blessing, their not something you put in a chest for years and look back on twenty years later. Children are something you should keep out of the box forever and keep them;treasure them. Maybe you should've wanted Thea when you got the chance! Because you just put her in a chest for six years and now you want to look at her and admire her? This is your only chance, and you ruined it!" That's the last thing I hear before I start to run out and hide behind our car, crying. My mom came out three minutes later and placed Jenny in her car seat before hugging me and comforting me. The same scene happened for the next 15 years. That's where I am now." He puffs up his cheeks. "Wow." He says, speechless. I bite my lip. "And that's why I'm going to ask you this." He says. I raise an eyebrow as people crowd around us and start filming. He gets down on one knee and proposes. "What the heck are you doing, Louis?" I whisper in his ear. "Just say yes." He whispers back. I pretend to cry and nod. "Now we have to kiss." I sigh as he pulls me closer to him and places his lips on mine. I take a deep breath and kiss him. Everybody clears out of the way as he leads me upstairs. "What are we doing, Louis?" I ask. "A kick-off to engagement." My teeth start shaking and I nod. "Look, we're doing this and if you don't do this with me, than I swear I'm gonna put you through the painful experience of going on tour." I giggle. "I actually like tours, Louis. You forgot that my mother's only forty. She still goes on tours." He rolls his eyes. He leads me into the closet and shuts the glider behind us. I think about this. Is this really what I want?
