The Boyfriend Mission

Hi, I'm Samantha, the brave, out-spoken, drama queen,and my best friend is Cali, shy, nerdy but pretty, and surprisingly very demanding. She always wants me to do her dirty work, but I really don't mind .

Like today she told me she wants me to hook her up with this cute Junior named Joseph, the popular kid of course that rarely looked our way, but if he happened to get just I glimpse I swear Cali will faint.

I told her I will talk to him, but only because i would like for her to shut up for once. He's in two of my classes, so it should be easy. I guess you can say I'm pretty cocky, more than my own good. I think I have a way with the gentlemen. well coming from a boyfriend less girl I suppose.

So here it goes. I walk up to him slowly, but surely till I'm directly in front of him. He looks at me unsurely and says hi. I quickly say hey and walk away as fast as I could. My hearts beating right if of my chest, I think it might even explode. Oh yea, did I mention I was a drama queen.

Why am I so nervous. I don't even like him, so this should be easy. Right. I have never been so nervous to talk to a guy.

Maybe it's his shaggy brown hair, or his bright blue eyes that sparkle in the sunlight.

NO!!!!

I can't do this. Not now. Cali likes him not me. There's no way I could do this to her. She's my best friend. She could never trust me again.

Wait.... This is all in my head. Just go back and talk to him or .....I could just wait till tomorrow. Yea , I'll do it tomorrow even though I know waiting wouldn't make the situation any better.
