A Date One Fine Day

"HAVE FUN, DARLING. And don't make your Mommy upset."

"Opo, lola. I never did upset mommy. Right, Mommy?"

Ivine smile and turn to her daughter. "Of course. But just incase your lola is right."

Bryce's beautiful eyes widened and then she made a pouty expression that made her and her mom laugh. "Okay. But I promise I'll behave mommy."

She pinch her daughter's cheek. "I know. Now why don't you go downstairs and say goodbye to your lolo before we go?"

"Okay," she said and immediately went out of the room.

"Sigurado ka ba na hindi mo na isasama si Jolie? Wala ka pa namang kasama kahit si Shin o kahit stylist man lang. Baka dumugin-"

"Ma, relax. Bryce and I will be fine. And beside sa amusement park lang malapit dito kami pupunta. Gusto ko ako lang at si Bryce, babawi ako sa bata. Noon pa gustong mamasyal sa amusement park eh hindi naman namin mailusot ni Brace dahil parehong loaded yung schedules namin. Its a good thing naiintindihan naman niya. I'm thankful nga kasi meron kaming isang araw na pahinga after ng concert. I decided to spend that with Bryce since naalala ko na gusto nitong mamasyal. You know when I said last night na mamasyal na kami eh lumiwanag yung mga mata," mahabang wika niya sabay tawa ng magaan.

Her mom laugh gently as well. "Well, iba nga kapag magulang ang kasama. Naalala ko rin na ganun ka noon ng maliit ka pa. O siya, kapag babalik na kayo eh tumawag ka para makapagluto na kami ni Jolie ng hapunan."

"Okay, I will," she said and pick up her bag as they went out together in her room.

"Anong oras uuwi si Brace?"

"Late na siguro. After ng shooting niya eh magmimeeting na sila para sa isang brand ng kape na gusto siyang kunin bilang model."

"Oh, I see. Sinabi ba sayo kung ano?"

"Nescafe."

Her mom's eyebrows raised that made Ivine laugh.

"Well, hindi na ako nagulat. Now, where's the pretty little lady? Humayo na kayo para maraming rides ang masakyan niyo."

"I'm here lola! Yaya Jolie gave me cookies."

"Anak bibili naman tayo doon," aniya pero alam niyang hindi ito papayag dahil kapag nagbake ng cookies si Manang Jolie ay hindi kayang humindi ng kahit na sino. Pareho ito at si Welcy na masarap gumawa.

"Yaya have the best cookies than any other bakeries, Mommy."

Natawa sila ng magulang niya.

"Alright, you win, sweety. Let's go. Ma, Dad, aalis na po kami."

"Bye lolo, lola," Bryce said and kiss the two before going inside the car.

"Bye, darling. Enjoy," her mother said.

"Ingat sa pagmamaneho," pahabol ng ama niya.

"Yes, dad."

Ivine smile when she got inside the car, Bryce was all set. She starts the engine when she was done putting her seatbelt and then look at her daughter.

"Someone's excited," she tease the youngster.

Bryce smile widely. "Yes po, Mommy. We're finally having a date!"

Natawa siya. "So hindi masama ang loob mo dahil tayong dalawa lang at wala si Daddy?"

"No, of course, Mommy! Daddy and I are always together. But today, I can be with you like the whole day. And I like it."
