Darrys thing

Darry's pov

The alarm went off signaling me to get up. I got up and trudged over to the shower. I took off my boxers and hopped in. I washed my hair and body and then stood in the shower. letting the hot steamy water trickle down my body.

I then got out and dried myself off. I put on my usual outfit and combed my hair back out of my face. I exited the bathroom to see Johnny on the couch fast asleep. I walked over to soda's and pony's room to say my goodbyes. I slowly opened the door to see pony fast asleep with soda's arm around him like it usually is. I kissed ponys head and looked at him. he was smart and I'm hard on him cause I want him to be successful. I don't want him to struggle like we are now.

I then walked over to soda and rubbed his arm. soda was a nice kid. he's a lot like mom. I'm glad sometimes he stops me when I'm yelling at pony. sometimes I'm just so stressed out I don't even know what I'm doing.

I walked out of the room and shut the door slowly and quietly making sure I didn't wake them up. I walked back into the living room and looked at Johnny. "goodby johnnycake" I said in a whisper. then I walked outside and started up my car and drove to work.

Ponys pov.

I woke up to see the sun shinning in my eyes. I tried to go back to sleep but that didn't happen. then I realized what day it is and quickly got up. I ran to the shower and quickly stripped off my clothes. I took a quick shower making sure I was extra clean today then I got out and wrapped a towel around my waist and went back to my room. when I opened the bathroom door the cold are hit me giving me goosebumps.

I walked into my room and picked out my clothes. I picked out a plain black t shirt and blue jeans the nicest pair I have that I only wear for special occasions. I slipped on my tennis shoes. and walked out. I went into the kitchen to get some breakfast and of course I had to usual breakfast, chocklate milk and cake.

Right then two bit walked in.

"Woah pony why do you look so nice today?"

"I'm doing something special"

"Like?" I didn't get to answer cause steve walked in.

"Hey guys" he didn't even look at us while he said hi. he just went straight for Darry's cake. The gang loves Darry's cake. 'mom taught him how to make it one day and he just made a cake everyday since then. Darry's 20 now but it seems like he's much older like 40 because of how much he works and yell so much.'

"Hello earth to pony" two bit was waving his hand in front of my face.

"What?"

"I asked you why you where dressed up nice and you didn't answer."

"Oh we'll I just wanna be dressed up" I didn't want to tell two bit cause he would make a huge deal out of it.

"Oh please pony if anything it looks like your turning into a soc." I got mad when he said that. socs are horrible people. they pick on greasers and have beer busts for fun and always get what they want.

"I ain't no soc" I said a lil more bitterly than I planned. "woah ok calm down pony" Sodapop said coming out of our room with only his boxers on. I see why the girls like him. nice outlined face, tan body, great personality, who wouldn't want a guy like that? "Sorry I just don't want to be thought of as a soc. I ain't like those scoundrels"

steve chuckled. i looked at him. "what's so funny?" "you" he said. "we'll who cares I gotta go" I said walking towards the door. "be careful" soda yelled before I shut the door.

Now time to go find shay.
