Everyone has their own theories on life. So many definitions by so many different people. Some say it is like a road, while some call it a roller coaster ride. I'm all of 18, but I think I've cracked the code on how life basically works. Or you could just think of it as another theory. Whatever it is I call it my perspective. Now that doesn't mean it is right or true or you have to like it. You are an opinionated individual and can decide for yourself.
I think life is like that strict teacher in school. The one who made our life miserable and we hated her so much but then now standing at this juncture in your life when you look back, you see what she has done to shape you. Hadn't it been for her punishments, you wouldn't know punctuality which you are appreciated for at work. Had she not forced you to stand in the middle of the class and answer questions, you wouldn't know public speaking skills which people admire you for. So basically the point I am trying to make is, whatever we face in our lives the good or the bad, it is all teaching us something.
Just because you are done with school and college doesn't mean you stop learning. Keep the student in you alive. Because life is always going to be teaching you a lesson.
Don't you feel that when you are in a crises, problems seem to come from everywhere. It's like you are in a sinking ship, and the water is filling in from all the sides. It seems like the whole world is against you. You feel lonely. You wonder if there is any share of happiness in your life.
Now this situation is like your Final Terms. This is your opportunity to put to use everything you've learnt up to that moment. You feel lonely because nobody is going to help you here. No chits, no friends nothing. You have to rely only on yourself. You have to deal with all the problems, answer every question raised against you. Show your mettle. The euphoria you feel after this phase is over and that too with flying colours is priceless. Remember this is only to see of you are fit enough to move a step ahead in your life.
You cannot get up mid exam and say you wanna give up. Giving up is not a solution. You can reappear but you are going to lose a year. Take your time. Seek help from seniors. Just don't give up.
Life is beautiful. When we are at this low phase in our life and are self pitying we feel like nothing will ever be right. But days later when I am having a really good time, I look back and laugh at my stupidity for even thinking that way. If I would've not come out of that, I would've missed this amazing moment.
Life is not only about problems and solutions, laughter and sorrow.. It's about Magic. There is magic in everything. From the sweet smile of that cute infant you met in the supermarket to watching the plant you water everyday bearing flowers. The little details we overlook in our busy lives has beauty, has magic.
Typing the word magic itself gives me a kind of rush, a kind of insane happiness. Maybe because I am this dreamy person who believes in miracles. Believes that everything happens for the good, believes that nobody is bad just a little selfish which is again not bad.
One more thing I have learnt is that one person's right may not always be the other's right. Sounds tricky right? Imagine this. You are standing facing your best friend. Lift your right hand up. Ask your best friend too as well. You'll see his right and your right isn't the same.
Now ask him to stand next to you, both facing the same direction. You'll see both your rights are the same.
This is how some people's actions are . you feel they are not right. That is because you are standing in the direction opposite them. Walk over to their side, stand next to them. Now you'll see why they did what they did. Nobody is wrong, just not right all the time. :)
Remember you cannot please everyone all the time! You will end up upsetting someone. So isn't it better you keep a small list of people to please thus reducing the number of disappointments.
It is OK to make mistakes. It is OK to fall once in a while. It is OK to get your heartbroken at times. It is OK to fall in love with the wrong person. It is OK to break someone's heart. It is OK to let yourself lose once a while. It is OK to remove time out for yourself.
Life's too short to be wasted in tying the lace on your shoes, to do your hair perfectly, to look good all the time, to act all poised, to go to the same eating joint all the time, to eat the same food.
Wander off, go to the paths you've never been before. Don't go too far away. Don't lose yourself. And most importantly LOVE YOURSELF.
NOBODY CAN LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU YOURSELF.
Please let me know how this is. Your feedback means a lot!!! Love you all:*
