11.Girls Talk

Simon's POV

"I had never seen Daphne cry before. Just after she told us about the guy in the photo she ran away with tears falling down her cheeks. She looked so much in pain and I couldn't do anything to make her feel better. She probably didn't want to see my face anymore. She would think that I was a sick stalker. I wish I could tell her the truth. That I would never ever disrespect her privacy. I have a talk to her even though she hates me now but at least I have to try. Oh Georgia why the hell did you pick up that photo? "

"What do you want Georgia? "
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to make things bad."
"Your sorry doesn't fix anything. Did you see how sad she got? I told you G not to do that detective thing. "
"Simon I didn't do any damn thing. Her photo just fell. I didn't steal it. "
"You could just give it to her Georgia. "
"Of course I would give it back to her. I just wanted to show that to you guys. OK maybe I should have just give it to Daphne but you know me Simon. I really regret it. Please don't be mad at me. "
"I'm not mad at you G. You're my best friend and you mean a lot to me. You made a mistake. Everyone does. The only thing to do is to learn form it and not to repeat it again.
"I know I know Simon. But Daphne also means a lot to you. "
"I'll talk to her or at least try to.
"No you won't. I am the one who made this mess and I'll be the one who will clean it up. "
"G you don't have to. "
"I have and I will. Trust me. "
"Okay do as you wish. "
"Thanks Simon for not being mad at me. "

"Come on Georgia. You have stayed in front of the door for 10 minutes. Just ring the bell."
"I want to but I just can't Derek. It's not that easy. "
"Did I really had to have a twin sister?"
"I heard that Derek!"
"OK sorry. Just calm down. I'll ring the bell for you and get out of here. Seriously all these girly things are giving me a headache. "
"Stop being dramatic. "
"Says the girl who can't ring a bell " Derek said as he rung the door bell.
"No.Wait. I wasn't ready. "
"See ya sis"
"He's going to pay for this" she thought.

In that moment Victoria opened the door. She looked a bit tired.
"Hello?"
"Hello Miss Brawn. My name is Georgia and I am your daughter's classmate. Is she home now?"
"She is but she wants to stay alone right now. "
"I understand but I really need to talk to her. It's really important belive me."
"Okay I will see what I can do. Come inside. "
Georgia couldn't stop thinking how amazing the house was. It was like a castle.
"Daphne's room is in the second floor at the end of the hallway. Do you want me to come with you?"

"No thank you. I want to go there alone. "
"Okay dear go then."
Georgia started climbing the stairs feeling nervous more than ever. But she had to do it. She had to tell Daphne that this was only a big mistake. And now she was standing in front of Daphne's room door.
"I hope she opens the door. "
'Knock knock ' nothing
'Knock knock ' still nothing.
"Daphne? I know you're in there. It's me Georgia from school Simon's friend. Can you please open the door?"
"Please go Georgia."
"I won't go until you listen to me. You don't know anything and still you are mad at Simon. Just listen. "
Daphne didn't talk for a few seconds. Then she opened the door. Her eyes were red from crying and her hair was messy.
"What do you want to tell me? "
"I'll tell you what really happened and that all of this is a big mistake. "
"Come in."
Daphne's room was really nice,tidy and modern. It had sky blue walls, covered in some pictures,wooden floor with a large white carpet, a big bed with blue sheets,a big wardrobe and a cute white chandelier.

"Nice room you got. I didn't knew that you were a fan of blue."
"Thanks. Let's sit on the bed. "
"Okay"
"So why shouldn't I be mad at Simon,you and your friends? " asked Daphne really straightforward.
"You shouldn't be mad at anyone. OK maybe a little with me. But I didn't mean anything bad. I just saw that your photo fell and I picked it up and then I saw you in the photo with that boy and I just showed it to my friends."
"You could have just gave it to me Georgia. Why didn't you?"
"That's what Simon said too and I know that I should have given it to you and I'm really sorry about it. But please I just want you to understand that Simon and my friends have nothing to do with this. It was all me."
"So Simon didn't do anything? He wasn't stalking me?"
"Of course not. He would never do that. Never. It's my fault. I'm sorry Daphne. I am really sorry for all this trouble. Say something. "
"I don't know what to say. I was just so mad at him for something that he didn't and I even didn't let him explain himself. I feel so bad about it."
"Don't worry. He understands it. Simon is a great guy Daphne. I have never met someone so nice before. I'm really lucky to have him as a friend. "
"I know. He's great and I admire his strength and the force he finds in himself to live a life as normal as possible. Sometimes I feel like I'm the disabled one and not him. " Daphne said laughing.
"Finally you smiled. I knew you will. Come on give me a nice hug. "
"Okay but just know that I am still a little mad at you. "
So they hugged each other and they stayed like that for some time. They really needed a hug in that moment.
"Awww you look like sisters." said Veronica.
"Mum!!! You scared us. How long have you stayed there?"
"I just came. Anyway I made some tea and biscuits. Come downstairs. "
"Ok mum in 2 minutes. "

"So are we cool now Daphne? "
"I guess yes. "
"Ok i know I shouldn't say this but did you really cry that much for all this?"
" Georgia you don't understand. I wasn't crying only for Simon. I was also crying for my brother. The one in the photo. "
"If you don't mind can I ask you what happened to him?"
"I want to tell this to Simon actually. I will call him tonight and setup a meeting with him. "
"You mean date." Georgia said with a playful voice.
"Georgia! We have only kissed twice.
"Twice??? How dare he not tell me about his second kiss?
"Hahah I will tell you then. "
"Thanks Daphne. That's gossip. "
"You are so funny Georgia. Come on let's go and drink that tea."
"Of course. And gossip. "
"Actually prepare yourself for an interview."
"I don't mind. I love interviews made by mums."
"I see Simon has told you about that. "
"Of course he's had. "

"Girls come on. The tea is getting cold."
"Coming mum!! Hey Georgia.
"Yeah?"
"Thank you. I really needed this girls talk."
