Niam: Movie Night

Niall's P.O.V

The boys and I were all gathered in the basement in Harry's step dads bungalow. We had two weeks off of work before we start our North American tour and wanted to go somewhere we could all just relax where no one could find us.

Harry, Louis and Zayn went to the kitchen to make snacks and grab some drinks before our movie night which left Liam and I alone in the basement.

Here's the thing, ever since X Factor, Liam and I have always been close, he's like a second big brother to me, but lately, I've started to get these weird feelings around him. A smile creeps up on my face every time I think about his gorgeous big brown ey- wait what!? Niall stop thinking like that he's your best mate nothing more! There's no way I could possibly fancy him...is there?

“Earth to Niall!” I heard Liam speak before he slammed my head with a pillow.

“You arse, what was that for?!”.

“You spaced out mate, everything okay?” .

“y-yeah everythings fine” I lied, “why?”.

“Just wondering, you seem to be spacing out a lot lately so I'm just making sure”.

“Oh, yeah, everything's perfect” I said, smiling in his direction.

“I know you're lying Niall, please tell me what's wrong so I can help” Liam said calmly while walking over and sitting beside me on the sofa.

Should I tell him that I could possibly have feelings for him? Wait scratch that, I admit, I do have strong feelings for him.

“Niall please tell me” Liam spoke moving closer to me.

Do I tell him? I have to tell him. C'mon Niall, it's now or never.

“Liam I need to confess something to you that I've been keeping a secret from everyone” I managed to say through the bundle of nerves that were building up inside of me.

“You can tell me anything Nialler” Liam said with a reassuring smile.

“Liam, I-I...think...I...”.

“You think you what Niall?”.

I couldn't do it. I couldn't say it out loud, so instead, I did something a little more risky.

As Liam was about to speak again I slammed my lips against his. He hesitated at first, but shortly after he started kissing me back. Our lips fit together perfectly and moved perfectly in sync.The kiss was filled with passion. I was quite surprised Liam was kissing back. A couple seconds through the kiss, the same question kept running through my mind. What if Liam isn't gay? What if I just ruined our friendship forever?

With those questions in mind, I pulled away after about 15 seconds. I didn't dare to look into Liam's eyes being too embarrassed.

“What was that” Liam spoke after a minute of awkward silence

“I-I'm sorry...” I said. I could feel the tears building up in my eyes knowing that I just ruined my friendship with Liam. I slowly started getting up just wanting to be alone before I felt a hand grab onto my wrist and pull me back onto the sofa.

“Wait” I heard Liam say as he sat me back down.

“Wh-” was all I managed to get out before Liam cupped my face in his hand and reconnected our lips before being interrupted.

“Aaawww” was all we heard before we broke apart to see the boys smiling from the bottom of the stairs.

“Shut up” Liam and I said in unison both blushing a deep red.

The boys just giggled while putting the drinks and snacks down on the coffee table where everyone could reach them.

Harry walked over to the DVD case digging out everyone's favourite movie, “Love Actually”.

As the movie began, everyone got cozy on the couches. Zayn sitting by himself on the rocking chair, Harry and Louis curled up on the love seat and Liam and I snuggled up on the large sofa.

I sat in Liam's lap with my head against his chest and his head resting on the shoulder with both our hands intertwined.

I could feel his slow, calm breathing brush past my hear which caused shivers to roll through my body.

“Be my boyfriend?” I heard Liam whisper in my ear. “Please?”

A smile crept up on my name and I blushed a dark crimson colour.

“Of course” I said snuggling further into his chest. I can finally call Liam mine.

“I Love you” Liam said turning me around brushing his lips against mine. His lips were so soft, I could kiss them all day if I had the chance.

“I...Love...You...Too...” I spoke out between kisses, This kiss was filled with passion and love. It made me feel like Liam and I would be together for the rest of our lives.

“Get a room!” Louis, Zayn and Harry yelled in disgust.

Liam and I just laughed as I reconnected our lips.
