Well, I think we should celebrate." Tiff stated as she took out a bottle of wine and poured both of them a glass.
"Yes...celebrate." He grabbed the glasses out of her hands to replace his hands to lead her to another part of the sewer. Her eyes lit up when she spotted a teenager laying lifeless on the ground.
"Is she dead?" Tiffany asked as she kneeled down to look at her.
"No," he chuckles, "she is only asleep."
Tiffany moved a strand of her hair out her face. "She definitely needs a makeover, but she does have a pretty face. Do you know her name?"
"Greta. She bullied Beverly in school. It was easy to kidnap her, just needed the right motivation." He answered as he stared at them both.
Suddenly, a thought occurred to Tiffany. "What if Chucky isn't dead?" She took out the amulet from her pocket. "He will come back for this." Her attitude changed drastically and he soon kneeled to her level beside her.
"Leave it with her, the body. It'll be safe. I'll keep my end of the deal and help you the same you are helping me."
"But I haven't captured all of them yet." She looked at him confused.
"Oh, I know. You've already captured me four of them, you've done your part half way so now I'm going to do my part half way." His smile never faltered. "Close your eyes." After a brief moment of hesitation, she finally followed his orders and closed her eyes. He placed a hand over her eyes and began to whisper incoherent words into her ear, a red balloon appearing right next to the laying girl besides them and it began to glow to life. He let finally let go of her. "Open your eyes."
"What did you do?"
"I connected you and hers soul within this balloon and when I say it so, it will pop without a sound and your soul will instantly get transmitted into her body." He chuckled.
"And her soul?"
"Will be in your body." He finished.
"That's fascinating." Tiffany breathed out in admiration. "And you have control of it?"
"Yes, when the time is right. I'll hide with the balloon and force it to pop without anyone noticing." Tiffany couldn't hide her satisfying smile.
"Keep him there. If you let him out once, he'll find a way to come back. That's his specialty." Tiffany, inside Greta, stated as she let her hair out of the ponytail. "Has this girl ever heard of a straightener. Sheesh!" He chuckled at her.
"I have to rest." He looked at the setting sun, his smile gone.
"Rest, you mean for the night?" Tiffany asked, hoping that's what he meant. She didn't want to leave his side, not ever.
He turned to look at her and he almost looked a little sad. "I rest for 27 years until I get hungry again."
Her heart dropped.
"Okay, I wasn't expecting this. So after your rest, you'll come back to create more havoc?" He smiled and let out a chuckle. "Well then, by that time I will be in my late thirties and I'll need a new teen to jump into." She looked up him and her eyes began to water, "I'm not gonna lie, this was really fun and you definitely know a good time, Mr. Giggles. I'll miss you."
"You'll come back?"
"Someone's gotta feed you. Of course I'll be back and then we'll team up again." She winked and giggled.
He kneeled to the ground and wiped a tear away from her. "Promise you'll come back to me."
She traced a finger over his profound cracks on his forehead as more tears fell. "I promise, I'll come back for you." She placed her head against his and closed her eyes as they both shared a moment of serenity.
"Goodbye, Tiff." He said softly.
"I'll catch you on the flipside." She responded before he exploded into a hundred balloons and she smiled to herself as she watched all of them float to the sky.
