Shawn and I spent more of the night against bookshelves just loving with all that we could. My stomach churns at the thought, he got so deep inside of me and he was so delicate when he held me, I left him covered in marks. I found stuff out about him and I wanted to use those things to my advantage. He told me about his disorders, like his anxiety that I didn't know existed and how he loves hickeys so I left them all over him. He says they're the marks that feel the best and he's just completely obsessed with feeling good. He's always trying to get off even if I won't do it for him. "Baby girl, are you gonna take them or me?" He wears a big sweater to hide all of the marks.
"I will," Nathan smiles walking through the door. Izzy runs to Angelina while the babies jump on their uncle squeaking his name. "My teenagers," he smiles at them. "You better be good for your mama," he points. "She's mad enough you're leaving her." I jump on Shawn's back. I didn't leave any marks on his neck even though his sweet spot was calling me. I just couldn't do it, instead I left marks all down his stomach and even a couple on his back.
"I'm not mad, they're all going to the university of Toronto, they're not allowed to go anywhere else," my eyes fill with tears and Shawn flips my over his shoulder setting me in front of my teenagers.
"We don't leave for a while mama, we have almost a whole year left." Jericho holds me off of the ground. As he always does, that's how he likes to hold me, he's just like Shawn.
"And we'll have lots of fun while we can," Nathan takes the others to the car as they drive themselves. Kaiden squeezes me as well but when he lifts me he buries his head in my neck.
"We love you mama," Mercy mumble simply bending down to hug me. She's not like the boys, she's always been a daddy's girl as are the other three, but all of the others are mine. They're my babies and my boys, and I know they're always there when I need them, and they know that I'll always be here for them too.
"Bye daddy," Mercy smiles kissing his cheek before following her brothers outside.
"She's such a daddy's girl," I groan a little and he chuckles.
"So are you," he whispers lowly, even though no one is around no one can hear us. He kisses down my jawbone and to my neck.
"I stopped calling you daddy years ago." I roll my eyes and he chuckles.
"You should start again, instead of calling me trouble." He rolls his eyes and I chuckle.
"Because my troublemaker doesn't like that," I smile getting a giggle.
"Is it me mama?" My baby boy smiles. He's not supposed to be awake yet and on top of it all how did he get out of his crib. He's so small and he can't walk well.
"Yes it is Davi, you are the biggest troublemaker of all." I giggle lifting my boy up and onto my hip. His head falls against my shoulder. "Now, you little trouble maker," I start up the stairs with Shawn hog on my heels. "How did you get out of your crib." I push the door open seeing a chair by their crib and each one of them on the ground doing something different. Aoife still lay asleep, as much as she hates going to sleep she enjoys her sleep very much.
"Morning?" Shawn crosses his arms leaning against the doorframe.
"Morning daddy," they all say in unison not really caring about the fact that they've escaped their cribs. I let Davi go play with them. Some colour way outside of the lines, the others play with their toys, but they're all silent for Aoife. They're the cutest things and regardless of how much I feel they need discipline for this I also want to join them.
"Come on," he leads me away from the children playing. We enter Skylar's room and she looks so scared and lost in the darkness. We have blackout blinds in all of their rooms because they can't sleep until it's dark.
"Sh baby girl it's ok," I flick the light on and lift her up. It hurts my heart to watch them be afraid of the dark, I am too so I know their pain and when they're stuck in their crib it makes me feel even worse. "Mamas here," I hum, Shawn stays leaned against the doorframe while I hold her.
"She's not afraid," Shawn takes her from my arms tossing her up in the air. "She was just tricking you," he smiles at the giggling little girl.
"Skylar Athena," Shawn hushes me making off with the little girl. He likes to protect our girls like that he's very cautious with them and he's always standing up for them. I do the same for our boys, we are both strict at times and I will defend my girls too until I think that they need discipline, that's when Shawn usually steps in to save them. He does it every time and I think it's pretty cute.

Shawn hasn't been home all of that long and we've been getting into huge arguments over nothing all of the time so I have another meeting with my parole officer because of it. He just wants to make sure all is well. "How's everything going? How's everyone adjusting?" He raises an eyebrow. I told Shawn it was a girl because he had to stay at the house with us and I know Shawn wouldn't like it, cop or not.
"Pretty well, Aoife really likes him and the boys are adjusting slowly." I nod thinking about my perfect little family.
"That's great! How have you been?" He raises an eyebrow. We walk out slowly and he leads me to where Shawn waits to pick me up.
"Good, a little nervous at times but I'm good." I nod looking at Shawn. He stares down at his phone but as I look at him I want to cry. Our story is really one to tell, and his hair, all of it's gone and we're both anxious for when it might come back. My hair is about as long as his used to be so he does it for me everyday.
"Alright well, you can get going then," he starts off while I start slowly towards Shawn taking in his appearance for a moment. He doesn't like leaving the house but he'll do it he just doesn't like walking around bald. His parents both shaved their heads for him though. And so did the boys and Angelina and Mercy. They're all bald for their daddy, Mercy's hair grows like mine and it's pretty much the same length as mine now while the boys wish their hair was that long. Angelina is slowly getting it back but she's patient, and even Dylan shaved his head too. He's pretty much already a member of our family and him and Angelina fight all of the time but they love each other a lot and they're the cutest things.
"Hey you're done," he smiles kissing my cheek softly. He always puts aside his own pain for us. He hates going out but he comes every time I have an appointment. I felt really bad so I made him a hat and he wears it whenever he leaves the house. He loves it and I'm glad he does, I hope he really does. As much as he tells me he loves it I feel like he's just saying it so that he doesn't have to hurt my feelings.
"I'm done," I smile planting a kiss against his lips. "Let go home trouble," I whisper to him.
"Ooh," he shakes his head looking down slowly. "We have to go home now, you're gonna make your trouble maker mad." He shakes his head bringing me out to the car. "And you won't like it when trouble gets mad."
