After the movie we talked about school and our friends as usual. As soon as I closed my door the questions I had been trying to hold back took over my brain.

"I-If you don't mind me asking, what was the thing you wanted to tell me before?" I asked.

"I-I don't really want to say right now. Maybe once you get to know me a little bit better." He said avoiding my gaze.

"O-ok." I replied disappointed.

"Well I should probably get going anyways. My mom will kill me if I don't get home in time for dinner."

"Ok." I replied. We walked down the stairs in silence. I opened the front door.

"Well I hope we can hangout again soon. Bye." I said.

"Bye." Blake replied. "I love you." He said quietly. Then he ran away.

"I love you too." I whispered a new found joy lighting up in my heart. I shut the door and smiled to myself.

"This'll be some news for mom." I hear a voice say behind me. I whirled around to see my little sister smirking.

"I'm not going to tell her yet and you better not either." I said realizing that she ment it as a threat.

"I mean it's such amazing news that normally I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut but I guess I could if you got me sweets." She said hopefully.

"You know, you may be young, but your annoying and crafty." I said bluntly.

"Whatever. So take it or leave it?" She said smirking again. I sigh.

"Fine."

"Thank you!" She replied hugging me like an innocent child.

"But remember, not a word." I admonished. She nodded her head indicating that she understood.

"So tomorrow I want a donut and don't forget it." She said climbing up the stairs.

The next day I take the bus to school as usual. As I walked to class I see Blake.

Crap, after yesterday I'm not sure what to do. Should I just act normal or what?

"Oh hi Cat!" I look over to see who's talking.

Why does Sayaka have to show up now?!?

"Hi Sayaka." I said trying to sound normal.

"So did you and Blake have fun?" She asked. I could hear the jelousy in her voice.

"Yeah." I replied not wanting to go into detail.

"I heard that something happened last night." Sayaka said anger starting to bubble up in her voice.

"Why are you mad at me? If I did something wrong just say so!" I said frustrated.

"Yeah I'm mad at you! You stole him from me! My own friend stole my crush out from right under my nose!" Sayaka exclaimed as silent tears start to roll down her cheeks.

"H-how do you know that?" I asked taken off guard.

"Blake told me when we wanted to ask for advise of what to do now." Sayaka said crossing her arms and sadly walking away.

"Wait!" I call out but she doesn't even look back, "I'm sorry but please, I didn't mean for this to happen. I'm sorry." I feel a hot tear run down my cheek.

Why did this happen? It was my fault wasn't it. I just barged in and had to ask didn't I? Now look where it got me. Well I better shape up so I don't draw suspicion.

I wipe away the tears and continue my day acting like nothing happened. The day came and went just like a cloud in the sky. Days go by and Sayaka's rage seems to get worse and worse until finally I decide to confront her instead of taking her petty insults.

After school I catch Sayaka by the wrist to keep her from running away.

"Sayaka, we need to talk." I said trying to keep my voice steady.

"To hell with that. We already know what happened, you took him from me!" Sayaka spat at me. I feel the tears welling up in my eyes as I wonder where my old kind Sayaka went. Then I realize it's my fault she became this monster, and to get the old Sayaka back I'm going to have to wrestle this monster out of her.

"Sit down." I say sitting down myself.

"Why would I do what you say?!?" She spat at me. I could feel my anger taking over.

"Because I didn't mean for this to happen! I just trying to figure out if he liked you or not for your sake! Sayaka, the old kind Sayaka that I knew was precious to me and I wanted to know if he felt the same way you did. I wanted to protect you ok?!?!" I exclaimed hot tears streaming down my cheeks.
