Saving Pax

Chapter 1: Epic Day

(Skys PoV)

I rushed around my small apartment to get the tickets from the printer. Lucky, my friend Lexi wasn't awake. If she knew we were heading to pax, she would freak. I am going to tell her for birthday party (which is this evening after college classes). I placed the tickets (enough for six people to go) in a box with Lexi others presents. While I buy six plane tickets and two hotel rooms. I finished wrapping Lexi present with the duct tape and then upload a new video to YouTube. I started the coffee knowing Lexi was going to wake up in about five minutes. Lexi came out of her room and went straight to the coffee. After she finish drinking her coffee she asked "Sky how many views do you have already have?"

I had about 300,000 views already and counting. I had about two million subscribers on youtube before Revel Mode asked me to joined them a year ago. That raised up to three million. My friend Maddy does some videos time to time with me so does Revel Mode but so far I had only played games with Jelly and Droger. This year I was asked to go to pax and join Revel Mode's charity event for St. Judes Hospital. I had an hour left before class starts and I finished my art homework. I just had to touch up some spots I've missed. I then put my piece of work into my bag with a folder. Lexi was just grabbing her bag and heading over to her car. She had mathematics which was across the UCLA campus. Lucky for me I had my art class first. I took my bike over and locked it up to a bike rack. I had met my friends Maddy and Sam.

"How did the homework go?" I asked

"I don't know exactly I feel like I'm missing spots," Maddy responded.

"I question whether or not I forgot something. You?" Sam said.

"It was okay and I finished up some touches this morning but I might have missed spots too," I told them.

Class went on until lunch. Maddy, Sam and Laura were planning of going to panda express with Lexi while I went to our apartment to clean for my hour free time. It wasn't hard I just had to clean the cat box, sweep, and wipe down the counters. I would of decorated it for the party, but I didn't want to ruin the surprise. Lexi had a break period after biology, where she would usually come home to work on homework. However my graphic design class ends fifteen minutes after her microbiology starts. It makes it easier because graphic design class is my last course for the day. Maddy, Sam, Syd and Laura just have to come over at anytime before seven-ish to surprise her. Sam and Syd come over first with the cake from vons . They each placed there gifts on counter. Maddy comes with a homemade bag with Dan and Phil's whiskers on it. Laura had to park her car somewhere else before Lexi arrived. Soon you we heard Lexi's car pull in and her walking up the creaky steps to our apartment. We all yelled "Surprise"

Lexi fell down with a shocked expression on her face. She decided to open presents first since she wanted to mess with the stuff she got. She decided to open Syd's first which was a Harry Potter poster with the Hogwarts crest and a bag of milk chocolate. Sam threw her gift at Lexi hoping she would open it. Of course Lexi did, there was precious food like donettes, Ice cream, soda, and random candy packs. Maddy handed Lexi her present it had a Dan and Phil jacket with the whiskers and black crayon face mask. I figured it was for the whiskers. Maddy had a card that said " They don't understand the cat whiskers, they come from within" (Dan and Phil). Laura gave Lexi a card that had $100 visa gift card and a picture of Dan wearing a light pink shirt with a matching hat. Laura told her it won't come in until tomorrow. Finally, it was my turn to give the beautiful present. "That's and odd shaped present with all the lumps and bumps," said Lexi. After unwrapping the first layer of wrapping paper she gave me a death stare. I figured she would forgive me once she sees the tickets. Fifteen minutes past by and Lexi grabbed the kitchen knife and said " it better be worth it." with a little sass.

Finally she got it open. She pulled out a stuffed Hedwig with a Deathly Hallows necklace. She had a pleased look on her face. Then I said "You might want to hide Hedwig the Deathly Hallows are here?" She immediately began to giggle but after awhile she had tears rolling down her face, clearly thinking about the death of Hedwig a fictional owl. She continue pulling out things like harry potter's box of beans to a golden snitch necklace. Finally she got to the bottom of the box that had a small makeup bag with a Harry Potter logo. She open it and her eyes had widen so much her eyes could've popped out of her head. She pulled the tickets out as if it was money.

They ran to me hugging me like a bear. I thought I was going to get mauled. For the next fifteen minutes she was joyful screaming. It seemed as Maddy enjoyed leaping in the air as a fairy. Sam could not stop jumping straight up in the air as if it was a concert. Syd brought the beer out and started to chugged down a bottled. She started to run around giving everyone a bottle. They started doing tequila shots and whiskey. While I drink my glass of wine. Soon Maddy got sick to her stomach from drinking too much. I tried to hide the liquor because I didn't want anyone else to get sick. I don't like to clean up human vomit especially if it wasn't mine. Soon everyone got tired Sam fell asleep kicking the cat out of her bed. So Scarlet slept with me and Maddy confused to what's going. Laura fell asleep on the couch which she called it her dumpster castle and she is the trash queen and we are all peasants trash. Syd stole all of my good stuff animals like my minecraft sheep and pig, pusheen, and chica's cupcake from FNAF. She slept like a dog guarding them on the floor. In the morning I started the coffee machine and made french toast. Syd was now sleeping on top of stuffed animals. Sam was now cuddling the cat. Laura was on the floor. It seem like she fell off last night. Suddenly Syd got up and ran to the bathroom. Poor Pusheen got squished under Syd last night now it's skinny. Syd started vomiting which seemed to wake up maddy. French toast was almost done as Sam yelled " Those smelled fucking good human being." as I handed her a plate . Syd came out asking for a glass of water to rinse out her mouth. Laura woke up yelling " LAST NIGHT WAS FUN BITCHES."

We had no classes today but after everyone finished eating they headed home to pack for pax. I clean up the place for Lexi but knowing her she would help fix my mistakes. Soon as the place was clean I sat on the couch checking to make sure I didn't have homework and then watch one of the new episodes of Criminal Minds without Lexi. She came out and told me to restart it. I did and made popcorn because we were three episodes behind. Once they were over Lexi went to bed. I made extra videos for the upcoming event. I made mac and cheese with corn dogs for dinner. Soon I went to bed. We still have two more days until pax.
