Winter Holidays!

-The Mekakushi dan goes all out when it comes to Christmas. Mistletoe is literally dangling everywhere. No one is safe.

-All the medusas (Mary, Shion, and Azami) really don't like the cold. ESPECIALLY Azami. As soon as October rolls around, Azami wraps herself in as many layers as she can possibly fit. Tsukihiko, on the other hand, loves winter (partially because Azami is more willing to cuddle in the cold.) Mary (albeit wrapped in several layers of clothes) and Tsukihiko can often be found playing around in the snow together, whether they're making snow angels having a snowball fight.

-Azami now forbids Kano from playing with Mary and Tsukihiko during winter, due to an oddly chubby and short snowman with long branches for its hair, tied with a red ribbon. The beautiful sculpture was titled "Medusa in Winter." Due to a freak 'accident,' the work was demolished by several black snakes. Coincidentally, after the whole event, Kano revealed to the dan that he'd suffered several snake bites all over his body. (The bites would have been a whole lot worse if Kano hadn't told Azami the snowmedusa was rather large because of the many layers of clothes Azami always wears in winter.)

-Ayaka and Seto are Jewish. Kenjirou, as an atheist, only celebrates Christmas because of Ayano.  Both Seto and Ayaka celebrate Christmas with the rest of the group, but they celebrate Hanukkah at home. Every night without fail, the whole family (including Mary) joins in to sing, play dreidel, and celebrate.

-To Ayano, Momo, and Hiyori (to an extent), the entire month of December is Christmas. So much time and money (from Momo's idol job, mainly) is spent decorating the hideout. Every December, the monthly power bill doubles (much to the dismay of the adults.)

-On December 21st, Momo always does a livestream of Christmas songs (Shintaro is her guitar player.) 100% of the proceeds go to charity.

-Every Christmas eve, the entire dan and their families all come together and watch The Polar Express.

-On Christmas day, everyone's family stays at the hideout. Shintaro hides out in a quieter room until Momo or Ayano drag him out. Hibiya always complains about being there, but deep down enjoys the festivity. There's always a Christmas movie on in the main room, but there are only three movies that everyone can stand - Home Alone, A Christmas Story, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Kuroha only wants to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas, so there's always at least one TV playing that on a loop.

-There are so many presents that they can't fit under the tree. Gift giving is rather unorganized as it usually falls on Konoha, who spends the entire time sitting in front of the living room TV, talking to people as they come by. (For example, Momo says to Konoha, "I got this nice blue dress for Takane, can you give this to her?" Konoha says yes, then forgets who the gift is for and gives it to whoever comes by next.)

-Sometimes Takane will go into the TVs as Ene to mess with whoever's watching. She'll pretend like she's one of the extras in a movie and see how long it takes someone to notice.

-Ayaka and Shion love baking Christmas dinner together and talking about their children while they bake. The poor women spend almost the entire day in the kitchen, what with Haruka and Konoha's insatiable appetites. They don't mind too much though.
