Church was about to end but before we had closed out our father Bishop Kenneth Collins had asked my sister Tailyn and I to come and sing a song before we leave. Singing at church was something my sister and I have always loved. As we made our way in front of the congregation everyone stood on there feet waiting for us to start.
"Because of who you are I give you glory....because of who you are I give you praise because of who you are I will lift my voice and sang lord I worship you because of who you are" After I finished Tailyn sung the verse agian and then we sung the rest of the song together and went back to our seats.
"Lets thank my beautiful daughters Taylor and Tailyn for singing a beautiful song to us"My mother said as we stood at our seats waiting to be dismissed. "Could everyone please bow there head and close their eyes.....Father god we thank you for alloying us to be in your prescence agian and alloying us to have a great time father god we also ask if you could watch over every child on this earth father god and continue to lead them in the right way and keep them out of satins reach father we ask you to bless each and everyone here and everyone that tried to be here but couldnt make it in your holy name we pray....Amen" After my mom finished praying everyone came up to me and my sister congratulating us on our song and makinq small talk after that I went over to my bestfriend Ray who was talking to Cameron my boyfriend. "Hey Tay wassup." they both greeted me with smiles. "Nothing much im just ready to get out of here and go have some fun" I said smiling at cameron.
You see camerons the type of boy my father wouldnt aprove of if he actually knew what he did for a living. Camerons the type of dude that sins throughout the week selling drugs and killing people and comes to church and repents on Sundays but you could never tell by looking at him."So Taylor you wanna go out to eat or something .?" "I would like to but you know im going to have to ask my dad""Aite well how about I ask"" Sure thats fine with me"
On the outside I was trynna keep it cool but in the inside I was nervous as hell.
