Marshall Lee had always been a solitary creature. He preferred to be alone, having space away from everyone and everything.  Marshall had been the typical human, until he had been changed around 1000 years ago. He still kept his human features, with some vampire attributes. He still had blue eyes, flakes of crimson in them. His skin was tan, but turned a deathly pale during the night. The only thing that had really changed was his teeth, now having razor sharp fangs, and his heart no longer beat. He had worked the idea into his head that since his heart no longer beat, that he would always be an unloving and cold vampire.... The answer to that couldn't have been any more wrong.

The truth was, Marshall Lee never intended to fall for the candy prince, at all. In the beginning he detested the very presents of the stuck up and spioled prince. But by some kind of miracle,  the cold-harted Marshall had learned to love the prince. He was completely oblivious to how the prince felt towards him though. Marshall decided to go to the palace to see Prince Gumball, to try and see what the other thought about the vampire. He made quick work of getting to the castle, levitating up to Gumball's balcony.  He landed quietly, dropping to his feet. Marshall knocked gently on the glass door that was adorned with pink anf purple curtains. He waited patiently for an answer from Gumball. The door opened slightly, Gumball's face peaking out of the crack to see who was knocking. His pink face sticking out against the darknedd of the night time. "What do you want Marshall?" Gumball askes, a slight sharp undertone to his voice. "I was just wanting to get out of the house, Gumball." He said, his blue and crimson eyes dropping to the balcony floor.
