This part happens after "To Give Thanks" so just skip it and read the next two then come back to this one.
"Pop Fest?" Daiji and I repeated it to Headmistress Tiara
"Yes! I want you two to perform there together at the festival tomorrow," she told us
"But tomorrow?" I cry "That gives us 24 hours to practice!"
"I'm not ready for this kind of pressure!" Daiji cried
"I know it's last minute, I apologize for that. But Kibo gave me the idea yesterday. Now no one is forcing you to do this so if you don't think you can handle it -"
"No we can handle it!" I assured her
"We can?" Daiji asked
"Of course we can! Don't worry Headmistress Tiara, we'll perform at the festival tomorrow, count on it!"
"Oh thank you!"
"24 hours ... and I need nine of those hours for sleeping!" Daiji cried
"Don't worry! Remember when we performed Blooming Blooming together? That was SUPER last minute but we pulled it off! I think with more practice we can pull off an even greater performance!"
"W-well ... I guess,"
"Now are we men or mice?"
"Mice- I MEAN MEN! I mean .. Women!"
"Right! Now let's practice like there's no tomorrow!"
The Next Day ...
"Oh. My. Gosh. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!" I cried as I looked around at the festival. "Cool! A Ferris Wheel! I've always wanted to ride those!"
"You've never rode a Ferris Wheel before?" Daiji asked me
"It's kind of hard when you're in an orphanage and the only field trips you get are to better your education," I sigh "I'm really glad I found my parents,"
"Hey!" called Kibo "I got cotton candy!"
"Ooh! Sugar!" I cried as I took a large portion of the puffy candy. "Yummy!"
"Save some for us!" said Kibo said with a laugh
"So ... when do we go on?" Daiji asked
"After those two settle down," Kibo pointed to the stage where Manga and Sokudo were dancing agents each other. "So I'd say ... in an hour,"
"Kalani?" I turn
"Yujin! Hey!"
"H-hey! What are you doing here?" he asks me
"We're performing together!" said Daiji
"Really? Cool!"
"You bet it's cool! I can't wait to perform with Daiji again! It's been forever since we have," I sigh "But it's gonna be awhile before those two finish dancing it out,"
"I could call security on them," Kibo sugjested
"I'm going to crush you Sogen!" cried Sokudo
"Oh yeah? Well I'm going to - DAIJI!!!" Suddenly, Manga zoomed off the stage and embraced her little sister.
"Of the stage?" cried the MC "Sogen Manga is out! Which means Ketsueki Sokudo wins!"
"YEAH!"
"You win this round Ketsueki," said Manga, still hugging Daiji "But I will emerge victorious in the end!"
