This book features language that you'd expect from drunk bikers and typical bar fights that happens when someone says something nasty about another person's mother. There's also a healthy mix of general discrimination, racism with sprinkles of nazism, kidnapping of a minor, mutilation, self-harm, and lots of wonderful violence. Additionally there's a very short and implied sex scene, but that might also be a drug induced hallucination so I don't think you need to worry too much about it.
It does however explore a dark and unflinching underworld of body modification, which some people might not want to know about. There's piercings and scarification and plenty of distasteful tattoos, all of which has been painstakingly researched for their symbolism to be grounded in real life tattoo history. Hopefully it gets a little bit scary at times, so if that's not your cup of blood then maybe this is not the book for you. Scaredy pants ;)
