*school bell rings*
kids are running through the hallway trying to get past everyone to class.
Vivian a 14 year old freshie is on her way to first period.
she walks to her locker and sets her lunch inside and heads to her first period, math.
she gets into class and sets her things down and walks out the classroom.
she meets up with her friends and they walk around the building to kill some time before school actually starts. they stood in the hallway at the entrance to the building. Vivian talks to her friends Lydia and Rosè.
"Don't look now, but kris is coming this way." says Lydia.
Kris is Vivians crush since that past summer. they've hung out about a couple times but they've never gotten close to the point where they're both comfortable talking in person.
Kris walks by
"hey" says Kris.
"um. hi..." Vivian responds awkwardly.
The atmosphere was awkward and Kris left without saying another word.
"way to be awkward" says Lydia.
"like you could've done better in my place.." Vivian responds.

they start heading to class. the bell rings for class to begin. and class goes on like normal. long and boring.
*bell rings*
Vivian walks out the classroom and head to second period, Choir.
Vivian continues to walk and then she gets a sudden vibration from her phone. she checks the text and it says:
"attention students from SSK it's time to show off your powers! everyone gets a daily challenge. you'll have to record yourself doing your challenge and post it on whatever social media you have. if you successfully accomplish your challenge your name on the popularity chart goes up. if other wise, the opposite. good luck and may the best be known." ~Anonymous.
"ugh it's that stupid popularity chart thing again" Vivian says to herself.
a few years ago students made a game using the 'popular chart'. it was like truth or dare but only the truth. confessions came out and it ended up breaking hearts and a girl committed suicide from bullying.

later on that day everyone was talking about it. most of them were excited for their challenge. Vivian not so much. she'd like to be popular but not this way.
