It was a Friday night and it was really cold and heavy rain splattered on the roof. The thunder roared and lightning was the only light that filled the room each time it strikes. (Y/N) was in grief, she cried her heart out, she cried so much that she finished 2 boxes of tissues and this was the point where she had no tears left. She sat at the corner of her room, in darkness with her knees up to her chest and the atmosphere seemed dead and gloomy.

Y/N had just caught her boyfriend cheating on her. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw that girl on her boyfriend's lap, kissing him like there was no tomorrow, or practically eating his face of...
There was a knock on the door and it slowly creeped open. It was none other than Natasha, who came to comfort her best friend.

Natasha walked over to Y/N and sat down beside her, placing a hand her left shoulder in a form of a comforting gesture. Y/N sobbed more and more until Natasha breathed a heavy sigh and said, " Y/N I know you are hurt and I know what you are going through right now but look, tomorrow we are getting new recruits and they can't see you like this". "Natasha, I don't care at how they look at me, today is our anniversary and I caught him cheating on me". Natasha soothed Y/N feeling her eyes well up a bit, her eyes wanting to explode with tears, that could fill up a lake.

Natasha grabbed Y/N and hugged her tightly and told her," shhhh, Y/N I know (sniffs) I know it hurts, I bought you some ice-cream and some movies, let's go" Natasha got up and turned on the lights, she felt like killing Brad after seeing Y/N like this.

Her eyes were all red and swollen and her cheeks were all puffy, her hair was a complete mess, even her nose was all red and was surrounded by a pile of tissues. She is hurt and her heart is broken and she just can't get over what she saw.

Natasha brought the brush from the dresser and brushed out Y/N hair. She took Y/N out the bedroom, down to the kitchen to get some ice-cream. Thankfully Y/N was a calm now. In the kitchen Y/N and Natasha met Steve, he saw Y/N and asked if she was ok.? But she burst out crying.

Steve felt awkward and apologized for what had happened, he then left the kitchen and Natasha hugged Y/N once again and tapped her back. She rested head on Natasha's shoulder and took in deep ragged breaths to calm the cry and grief that consumed her.

Y/N finally slept and Natasha was a bit calm and extremely thankful for that. Natasha went to sleep in her own room only to be disturbed by Y/N's screams. Natasha ran to Y/N and saw that while she was asleep, she was screaming hysterically and crying out in pain. Natasha quick woke her up and held her in her arms. Y/N was breathing heavy and panting trying to calm down from her nightmare.

Natasha rubbed her head in a soothing manner until she fell asleep again. The next morning Y/N woke up and felt like her life was in complete darkness. She got to the kitchen at 4:30 to grab a bottle of water and a banana. She went back to her room and left the banana on the bedside cupboard. She would eat that after she takes a shower.

Natasha was now in the kitchen having breakfast with Steve and Tony, " you know Ironman can totally beat the crap out of that guy", Tony said. "No you won't Stark", Natasha replied," sure he hurt Y/N but we can't do anything to him...
" listen maybe we should make her do things to keep her mind of things", Steve said. " that's not a bad idea" ,Natasha replied.
