 Chapter one.

As we waited anxiously in the waiting room, I heard another of my mum cries of Agony. My sister and two brothers had gone off to get something to eat. I refused to go, I couldn’t wait for the moment my father walked through the doors crying with joy, shouting out the arrival of my new baby sister.  I was only six years old and still very excited.

I Imagined myself as a mum. I would be the best mum ever. I started day dreaming about my crush. I heard my name being called, “Violet, Violet, Hey Vi , Come here.” I zoned back into the world, realising my dad was walking up to me. “ Oh Dad, is she out yet?” My Dad nodded. I smiled and ran into the delivery room. I ran up to mum and giggled. “Look baby, its your big sister.” Whispered Mum. “ Hey baby, I’m Violet, nice to meet you.” I smiled and looked back up at dad.

The nurse walked in and told me to leave. Emily skipped in with a Grin on her face. I looked at her with a face. I walked out, Emily ran behind me. We waited for about 10 minutes until the nurse walked out with dad. Dads face was red and wet. “ Go say goodbye and goodnight to your mum, we’re going home.” Sniffed dad. We all said goodbye and left the hospital.

When mum finally came home with the baby. We were all very excited. Our house was pretty big but all the rooms were taken so we got an extension. While the room was building Our little sister slept in Mum’s room. “ What are we going to name her Mummy?” I asked. She thought for a while. “ I don’t know, What about you?” “Ellie Sophia Monroe.” I smiled. “ Ellie Sophia Monroe.” She repeated, “I like it.” After a few weeks, the baby room was done, Mum let me and my sister decorate it. Dad painted the walls a purple mahogany while Damien and I decorated the room with teddy bears and drew pictures on the walls for her.
