Coffee talks.
"So, Naruto, what made you decide to ask me out for coffee?" Asks Ino, who is dressed in a stylish purple dress that she reserves for special occasions.
"What? I can't randomly decide one day that I want to be friends with you Ino-chan?" Pouts Naruto, who is dressed in his usual orange jumpsuit.
"Well, I suppose you could Naruto, it's a little unpredictable though. Not that I mind, I like some flair in my life. Ino says giggling afterward.
"Ino did you possibly forget my moniker? I am known as the number one unpredictable ninja you know! Anyways, I just thought we could get to know each other better. You've grown up beautifully since the last time I saw you before my training trip with Ero-sensei!" Naruto says and grins.
At this, Ino blushes, 'did he just call me beautiful indirectly?'
"Oh, is that so? Yes, I remember your moniker now, shame on me for forgetting. Thank you for the compliment goldie, you've grown as well. You're probably pretty strong huh?" Ino says as she takes a sip of her coffee.
Naruto lets out a hearty laugh "Yeah, I am. Ero-sensei really pounded me into the ground throughout the three years I was with him!" Naruto smiles
'You've also grown in the looks department too, goldie!' Thinks Ino.
"Well, I have to go shopping soon. And I know boys hate that. So I'm gonna pay for my coffee and leave. We should spar some time Naruto! It'd be fun!" Says The purple-dressed Blonde.
At the mention of shopping Naruto groans but smiles at the fact that she isn't dragging him with her, he also smiles at the thought of having a spar.
"Most defintely Ino-chan! You just tell me when you want to spar. I'm always looking to improve my skills!" The boy of miracles says with a mighty smile.
Ino gets up after paying for her coffee. (She told Naruto she'd pay for hers beforehand.)
"I'll let you know Goldie-kun! Keep training hard." Ino says and winks at him before leaving.
Naruto too, pays for his coffee, which he sheepishly forgot to drink. 'Ino-chan is really pretty. Maybe after the spar I could get her to go to dinner with me or something.' Naruto thinks to himself with a smile.
A/N: I feel like the ending to this fic may have been a little abrupt, I couldn't think of a better stopping point. I hope you enjoyed! Expect a fic tomorrow which will probably be NaruIno because I just love them too much.
