Pragya's pov:
I stare into the beautiful eyes which were filled with concern.
"Pragya" Abhi called my name.
"Huh?what?" I ask and try to hide my embarrassment.
"I am just asking you if Donald trump is taking part in 2020 elections?" He asks with a serious expression.
"I guess yeah,but you never knew. Wait,what am I even answering?"I looked at him.confused. He laughs at me and I was staring at him.
"Oh shush ,you can continue laughing after answering me" I pouted.
"You're so cute"he pinched my cheeks. I blushed and looked away. I heard my phone ringing and looked at the caller I'd.
Oh crap! I am in trouble.
"Abhi,I have to go now. Since we have time can we discuss the project later" I asked hurriedly.
"Yeah sure. Do you want me to drop you? I mean you look worried" he asked hesitated by his actions.
"No" I said.
He looked shocked and scratched the back of the his neck. Aww!
"Err I was just asking. I know,it's my fault. You know what you're completely right we should no go outside. I mean you're a boy and I am a girl,but that doesn't mean we can't go " he started blabbering. I laughed at his awkwardness and he looked shocked. After a minute,even he started laughing along with me.
"Abhi ,we need to go the cafe because love birds messaged me they are waiting for us" I asked after sobering.I probably looked like a hyena!
"Love birds?'he asked confused.
"Guess!" I wink at him.
"Oh bulbul and Purab "he said.
"Perfecto" I smiled.
"Ok fine. Common let's go." He said and brought his keys. We get into his baby,I mean car which he calls baby. I know,weird!
"So where do we have to go?" He asks while driving.
"Some alphanso cafe" I said. He nodded. In the middle of the journey, I dozed off. I felt someone poke my shoulder. I grunted but opened my eyes. When I opened my eyes , I was starting into Abhi's mesmerizing eyes. I have no idea how long we were staring until an elderly couple disturbed.
"Kids these days!" They say and walk leaving me blush a crimson red.
"Aah sleeping beauty is finally awake" Abhi said.
"Shut up. Everything is because of you " I said and got down.
"Me? What did I do" he asks running,to catch up with me.
"You and your stupid baby. Even a snail drives faster than you" i replied.
"What? That doesn't make any sense, I mean snail don't drive!" He said.
I look at him in disbelief and shake my hand. I started walking leaving him.
As soon as I get in, I witness the scene of lovebirds. Purab was talking something and bulbul was continuously blushing. I stood there and someone bumped right into my back.
Ah shit! That hurts.
I turn around to see Abhi rubbing his hand.
"Can't you see?" I screeched soothing my back.
"It was your fault too" he said defensively.
"My fault? I asked confused.
"Of course,yeah! Why were you standing in the middle of the path as if you're owning it" he said pointing a finger at me.
I was about to reply but someone interrupted me.
"Bhai,Pragya di!" Aliya called us.
"Hi Aliya!" We both send together. I glared at Abhi.
"Woah,why is the air around us hot" Aliya asked teasingly.
"Aliya" I shouted. She raised her hands defensively.
"Where are bulbul and Purab "she asked looking here and there.
I pointed at their table,she groaned.
"God,why can't they just propose!" She whined.
"I know right" I told.
"How about we play a Cupid?" I suggested.
"Awesome idea Pragya di " Aliya said smiling widely.
"Oh so you want to register bulbul and Purab on Cupid.com. But I heard that website is for people who don't know each other" Abhi said innocently. We both look at each other as though he has grown another head.
"What? Am I wrong " he asks barely audible.
"How about you shut up" I said.
"Fine!" He pouted
We discuss our plan and hifi each other.
"Let's get it started " Aliya said.
We three started walking towards the table.
"Hey guys" I said smiling widely.
"Hello di. What took you so long?" Bulbul asked.
"Oh nothing, I came by bullock cart" I said winking at Abhi.
"What" Purab asked confused.
"Di" Aliya said ,and looked at me with narrowed eyes.
Oh shit! Plan right.
"Anyway bulbul we need to get home immediately " I said as though I am freaking out.
"Why" she asked confused.
"The grooms family is waiting for us " I said smiling widely.
"Di! You're getting married. I am so happy for you "bulbul said and hugged me.
" not me bubul. The groom is waiting for you " I announced.
"What" bulbul and Purab shouted simultaneously.
I smirked.
"Yeah,they said he saw you somewhere and liked you. I am so happy for you " I said. And hugged her.
"Wow bulbul I am so happy for you " Aliya said and hugged.
We looked at Abhi pointedly.
"Err,congratulations bulbul " he said shrugging. Bulbul looked at Purab who was about to pass out.
"Let's go. They are waiting for you. If you like him ,today is your engagement " I said
"What" she shouted again.
Man,I need to become an actor.
"Yeah bulbul. Today is a great day "I said.
"Common" I said and dragged her away.
"Wait" Purab shouted.
Plan successful! I smirked inwardly.
"Yeah" I asked innocently.
"Di,I need to talk to bulbul " Purab said hurriedly.
"Hurry up Purab. We need to leave" i said tapping my watch.
Purab looked confused and took a deep breath.
"Bulbul,I really really like you. I started liking you when you were bullied for the first time and I defended you. The look in your eyes for me ,I can never forget. That was pure admiration. After that,i started liking. But I think I am in love with you. I love each and every habit of yours. The way you smile when you're excited,the way you pout when you're upset and most importantly the way you like me. I know you like filmy proposals(he got down to his knees) so bulbul arora,don't worry I am not proposing you,will you give me the honor of loving you " Purab completed.
Aww..that was so cute!
"Common bulbul my knees are hurting " Purab said laughing.
"I love you too" bulbul said and hugged him.
Finally! We were looking at then happily.
"Di can you convince mom " bulbul asked nervously.
"We will when the time comes" I said and ran away. She whined and started running after me. We were laughing and the cafe owner kicked us out.
"Want to go to our house" I asked. Everyone shrugged.
We started driving and came to my house.
"Ma ma!" I shouted.
She came wiping her hands and looked at Abhi,Purab ,Aliya raising her eyebrows.
"Mom they are our friends. This is Purab ,Aliya and abhishek" I introduced.
"Namaste aunty ji" they greeted her.
"Namaste. Come in" she welcomed. They nodded and walked in.
"Pragya why don't you show Abhi our house. I will prepare some snacks" ma suggested.
"It's ok aunty ji.."Abhi started
"Beta,you came first time and you need to have something " my mom said.
Abhi nodded and mom looked at me as though "GO NOW!"
Why me! I just now came.
"Fine" I pouted.
I gave Abhi a tour of our house and he ga e a feedback to each and everything,trust me everything!
"This is my room" I said
"Nice. It would be nice if the color is blue" he suggested. I rolled my eyes at him
"Is this your family photo" he asked pointing at the bed side photo.
I nodded.
"Your mom looks pretty " he complimented.
"Thanks" I replied.
"Is this your dad?" He asked.
"Yeah"
He turns his head towards me shocked and walks out of the door.
What the hell just happened?!
