Mia's POV
Seeing as I had only just met both Carter and Kennedy, I was thinking about which one was telling the truth. My phone buzzed and I saw a tweet to me from a girl at my last school.
@xlexi23x: @Miajones you are a worthless, attention-seeking bitch. Just do everyone a favour and kill yourself
I get tweets like this everyday. They just remind me that I am worthless and for some reason, I believe it. I kept reading tweets like this for another few minutes until tears were streaming down my face. I walked into the bathroom and got out a small bag with razors in it. I sliced the blade across my skin, once, twice, three times when I decide it's enough. I quickly grab a towel and press it to my arm to slow the bleeding. The rough towel on my open cuts hurts like hell, so I bite my lip hard to keep myself from making any noise. I rinse off the razor and put it back in the little bag. I wrap up my arm and throw a hoodie on over it. Just as I walk out of the bathroom, my door opens and Carter walks in.
"Your grandma told me you'd be in here." He said.
"Yeah, so?"
"My mom is here visiting your grandma, so seeing as she thinks me and you are best friends, she brought me as well." He said and I groaned. Carter isn't really that bad, but I didn't like having him in my room.
"So what should we do?" I asked, playing with the sleeve of my hoodie.
"Do you want to go to Starbucks?" He asked and I nodded. We just walked there because it wasn't very far. As we were walking, we bumped into Kennedy.
"Uh, hey Mia, why are you walking with Carter?" She asked.
"We have to hang out. My grandma knows his mom so...yeah." I said and she nodded slowly.
"You know he's bad news, right?" She said.
"You know he's right here, right?" Carter said, standing in front of her.
"He seems like an ok person, maybe it's you thats bad news." I replied, remembering what Carter had said earlier today about her.
"Mia, whatever Carter told you isn't true at all. Just text me later, okay?" She said and I nodded before turning to Carter.
"I have no idea who to trust right now. Were you telling the truth Carter?"
"I might have twisted the truth a little bit." He admited and I slapped his arm.
"What? Carter, why?"
"Everything I said is true, except for the whole gossiping bit. And I did it because you seem like a nice person and I don't want you to turn into her." He said.
"Turn into her? She isn't a monster."
"Yeah but she is an annoying, spoiled teacher's pet. She is also very girly."
"Listen Carter, I'm not going to turn into her because it seems like a lot of work and I'm not about effort, so don't worry." I said and he chuckled a little. I was kind of getting along with Carter. Although Kennedy told me to stay away from him, he doesn't seem that bad.
"So are you going to the local high school?" Carter asked as we walked.
"No, I'm doing online school." I said and he gave me a confused look.
"Why not? School isn't too bad as long as you have friends." He said with a small laugh. I didn't really feel like telling him about my past high school experiences because I knew that I would break down crying.
"Yeah well school wasn't so great for me in the past."
"Really? School is pretty great for me." He said with a cocky smirk that I just wanted to slap right off his face.
"Good for you." I said with attitude as we walked into Starbucks. He sighed and went up to the counter to order. Suddenly there was a loud scream from a teenage girl who was staring at Carter. What is wrong with her. I looked at Carter, thinking he would be confused as well, but instead, there was a huge smile on his face. The girl came running over and they took selfies and hugged, before she sat back down with tears in her eyes.
"Did you know her?" I asked Carter.
"No, she's a fan." He said casually.
"Fan?"
"Yeah, I'm kind of famous on an app called Vine, so I get recognised a lot." He explained.
"Okay, sounds a bit weird, but whatever, let's order." I said and went up to the counter. I ordered a caramel frappe. As I waited, 2 guys walked into Starbucks, looking around. Carter spotted them and his eyes lit up. The 2 guys came over to us and they bro-hugged Carter.
"Who's this Carter?" The taller one said, looking me up and down. His eyes were really blue. Like, unhumanly.
"This is my friend Mia, she just moved here." He said and they nodded.
"Well I'm Nash." The blue eyed one said.
"I'm Cameron." The other guy said. They both got drinks and then we all sat down.
"So Mia, tell us a bit about yourself." Nash said and they all looked at me.
"Uh well, I'm 17, I just moved from Arizona and..." My voice trailed off.
"Don't be so nervous! We aren't going to bite your head off or anything." Cameron said with a laugh.
"I don't know, I'm not really good at talking to people." I said, but as soon as I said that, I realised how lame I probably sounded.
"Aw, that's adorable." Carter said, putting an arm around my shoulder and hugging me to his side. I pushed his arm away and glared at him. He put his hands up in surrender and I took a sip of my drink.
"Well that was a couple moment." Nash said and Cameron burst out laughing. Carter gave gim a death stare and I flipped him off. I didn't like Carter like that. Yeah sure he is hot but I wouldn't date him. I literally just met him a few hours ago.
We finished our drinks an all decided to go to a park that was only a few blocks away. Carter and Nash started running towards the swings, but me and Cameron stayed back.
"Sorry if we offended you in Starbucks, we were only joking around." He said.
"No it's fine, I know you guys were joking because I literally only met Carter a few hours ago." I said and he chuckled a little. Carter and Nash were already on the swings, looking like little kids. Cameron started jogging a bit but I was still walking.
"Come on, it's only a little bit to run!" He said, grabbing my wrist and trying to pull me along. His hand was squeezing my fresh cuts, making me wince. I just started running in the hope that he would let go of my wrist, but he didn't. I released my wrist from his grasp and sprinted to the empty swing, sitting on it. Cameron pouted and sat on the grass in front of me. Nash jumped off his swing and started running again towards the jungle gym. I ran after him, followed by Cameron and Carter. I took off my hoodie and started climbing up, beating Nash to the top. I went down the slide and then walked to stand next to Carter as he watched Nash and Cameron fighting at the top of the jungle gym. Once Nash and Cameron had finished fighting, they came down and stood next to us. Nash got out his phone and started playing music. The first song that came on was Timber by Pitbull ft. Ke$ha. We all started dancing in the middle of the park, not caring who was walking past. Suddenly all the guys stopped dancing and just stared at me.
"What?" I asked them.
They were all staring at my scarred arms.

Hi there donuts! It's Mia this time because me and Paige are co-writing this. I hope you liked this chater, sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes, my laptop doesn't have autocorrect. We do know that Carter, Nash, Cameron, etc aren't really doing Magcon anymore so we have decided to just say that they are Vine famous. The only problem is that to get this to link in with Meant To Be (Paige's Nash Grier fanfic, go check it out!!) it has to be Magcon, so there might be changes made to that, idk, ask Paige.
BUT thanks for reading anyways and please don't forget to,
