- Sophie's -

I think it was the first time I've ever bitten on my finger nails. I never actually picked up the habit but the first thing I did after today was to bite on my finger nails. I'm not sure if it was because I'm nervous or anxious but I couldn't fully explain what it was.

The boys had all settled on the couch comfortably and I made the effort to stay out of their comfort area. I didn't really want to seem unfriendly but I don't want to get emotionally attached to any of the boys. After all, I am just the cover-up for Harry.

I had texted Amber to come over and I thought she was away from her phone but she replied me five minutes after asking if I was kidding. The whole thing still hasn't simmered down in Amber's mind and she's still pretty doubtful of it. But the minute I reassured her, she started freaking out. To put it in her words, most of her texts were in caps, going "OMG AERE YOU SERISOUS LIEK CAN IREALLY COME FOVER ASJKLFJ"

So there I was, waiting for my best friend to come over so it wouldn't be so awkward for me right now. "Hey Sof, why don't you sit with us?" Louis asked all of a sudden and my eyes looked up from my phone.

"It's okay, I'm comfortable here. Thank you." I turned them down politely.

"If you sit here, Harry will cuddle you." Louis teased.

I made a disgusted face. "Eww, no." I replied immediately which made the boys erupt in laughter. Harry pretended to make a frown face towards me but I quickly gave him a glare. No, this isn't over between him & me. I'm positive that I still fight the urges to choke him with clogger.

"Oh come on, Sophie. Brighten up. You can't put Harry in misery forever." Liam tried to convince me.

"I can't but I want to." I responded.

Harry frowned again, this time genuinely doing it. "Hey, why aren't you mad at them too? Their my friends too."

"Because they weren't the ones who tried to ram me over with their cars." I reminded him. "And they weren't the ones who made me go to a hospital and get treated for--"

"Okay, calm your horses you two." Liam interrupted me. "We're going to have to work on your real relationship because I don't trust you two alone in a room. I'm scared I'll come back to a murder scene." Liam joked.

Just as Liam stopped talking, I heard a knock on the door. They all stared at me. "What? Why are you all looking at me like that?" I asked, backing away slightly.

"It's me, Paul." Paul said through the door. "I've got a girl who claims she's Amber?"

I quickly rushed over to the door. I opened the door slightly and peaked out to see an anxious Amber standing beside Paul. "Yes, she's mine." I smiled.

"I see. She's been poking me for a while now asking if I'm real." Paul said with a raised eyebrow. I couldn't help but chuckle at this. Imagine if she saw the boys, I don't think her tiny little heart can handle that.

"It's just her. Nothing to worry about." I laughed once again, pulling her by her arm. "Thanks, Paul. I really appreciate it." I thanked him before he turned to walk away. "Amber, promise you won't freak out and start hugging them like crazy." I whispered to her seriously.
