12.Simon, it's a date!

"Sue seriously you making it sound like a big deal. We will only eat something. " Simon said annoyed for the 25th time.
"Yeah as you say. But that doesn't mean that you are going there with pyjamas. "
Sue loved clothes more than anything in the world. No wonder she wanted to become a famous fashion designer in the future. Tom and Sue had came to Simon's house when he said that Daphne called him the day before. She told him that she wanted to meet him and fix everything. Sue kept saying that it's a date so she wanted to help him with dressing up. So Tom and Sue came to him.
"Well Simon we have tried some clothes so far but seriously your wardrobe is a disaster. You need immediately new clothes. I can't make anything with what you have. "
Sue had been complaining all the time saying that how boys should think more about what to wear and things like that.
"Tom is she your girlfriend? "
"I don't know her anymore when she deals with clothes. "
"I heard that Tom!" Wo zai zheli  bangmang!"
"I love it when you speak Chinese babe. "
"Do you want to say you something else in Chinese? "Sueur said flirting.
"Get a room you two." Simon said disguised.
"Oh Simon I forgot that you are still young in these kind of things"
"Very funny Sue. Aren't you on a "mission"?
"Oh yeah. " she said as she turned to Simon's wardrobe. She threw some other clothes on the floor. After some minutes Sue finally found something.
"Okay Simon. I managed to make something. If we had more time we could have gone shopping. "
"I will never understand girls. " said Simon tired.
"Like us girls that we never understand boys. Anyway here's your date outfit. "
Sue put on Simon's bed a white shirt,a trendy black jacket,some dark coloured pants and black shoes.
"Sue I'm am just going out with Daphne. Not in a wedding. "
"Ohhh shut up. It's perfect. Ohhhh it's almost 7. Get ready soon or you will be late. "
"Tom what do you think? "
"It's nice. "
"You say that because Sue is here. "
"What??No!"said Tom blushing. Sue laughed and kissed him. Simon just stayed there feeling like a third wheel.

"Hey Simon. You look great. "
"Hey Dap..
She was wearing a knee-length sleeveless sky blue dress  that matched her eyes with a silver belt  and golden coloured sandals.

"Cat got your tongue?"she said laughing.
"You look beautiful Daphne. "
She smiled and blushed and her face became just like a tomato.
"Thank you. Soo shall we get inside? "
"Of course."
They entered inside a small but cute cafe with different drinks and desserts. The walls and the floor were a bubblegum pink color and the tables and chairs were white and in an elegant style. They sitted on a table and ordered;Simon a chocolate cake and Daphne a creme burle.
"Nice place here. I have never been before. " said Simon.
"Really? How come?"
"Well because me and my friends go usually at our pizza place and we feel comfortable there. "
"That's nice. Simon you have awesome friends. They really care about you. "
"They do. They are the best people I have met. "
"Especially Georgia. I had a nice time with her yesterday. "
"She can be annoying sometimes but she is a good friend. "
"I know. Simon there's something I need to tell you. Something I have told to only one person my whole life. "
"It's the photo I saw right?"
"Yes. The reason why I started avoiding you since "that day". "
"I'm listening. "
"So the boy in the photo is my brother, Daniel. He is older than me. As you saw he's paralyzed just like..."
"Me."
"Well not really like you. He was paralyzed from a terrible accident when he was 7. In that picture I'm 5 and he is 10. My brother well he...... he never recovered from that accident. He changed so much. " Daphne said with a shaking voice. She was trying to hold her tears so much and Simon noticed that.
"Daphne,if you don't feel good.."
"No no it's alright. As I was saying he wasn't the same person anymore. His smile and laugh faded,he didn't talk very much,he locked himself in his room. I barely saw him and I started to miss him. All my family was. This thing went on for 5 years but then it was enough. We couldn't let him destroy his life so my parents had a long talk with him one day and he made a decision. He said he wanted to get away from the city and noise and go somewhere peaceful and quiet but he wanted to go alone. So he went to the grandma and has been living there since then. We go often to visit him but I miss him. I want my brother back Simon. When I met you I promised myself that I wouldn't let that the same thing happened to you so I told you about the swimming competition and then how I saw how strong you are and how happy you are despite your disability. You changed me Simon. I thought that there's no hope but you made me realise that there's always hope. Thank you Simon. Thanks so much  "she said and  finally let her tears fall from on her cheeks. Simon came near her and wrapped his arms around her.
"Shhhh don't cry Daphne don't cry. Everything is going to be alright. I promise you." They stayed like that for some moments until:
"Hey Daphne? "
"Yes Simon? "
"You came here with your car right? "
"Yes. Why are you asking? "
"Because there's something I want to show you. Let's go. "
"Okay."
They got up from the cafe and went to Daphne's car. She helped Simon get inside even though he kept saying he could do it himself and then started the car.
"So Simon where are we going?"
"Just drive straight for now. After some minutes you're going to turn left. "
"Okay. "
After they turned left, then they turned right. Daphne was driving like Simon was telling her the directions.
"See that hill. Go there. "
"Okay??? Simon tell me where are we going. "
"You will see when we arrive. Just a few minutes. "
Daphne drived up the hill and then stopped when Simon told her.
"We are here. Let's get outside.
"Fine let me help you. "

"Close your eyes Daphne and walk exactly 5 steps.After that keep your eyes still closed.  "
"Simon..
"Just do it."
"Alright. "
She closed her eyes and walked 5  steps and kept her eyes closed. Then Simon approached her and grabbed her hand and Daphne squeezed it hard.
"Raise your head. "
"Done. "
"Now open your eyes"
"OH MY GOD. "
The dark sky was full of shining stars. It was so beautiful. She had never seen such a beautiful night sky before.

"Simon it's beautiful. It's God I'm speechless. "
"It's my special place. I come here often. I'm happy you like it. "
"Oh Simon I don't know what to say. It's just so amazing. "
"Like you. "
As she saw the starry sky a tear fell from her eye and then she sitted on Simon lap and started kissing him so hard.
"Wow Daphne. I think Sue was right. It's a date.
"Yes she was. " she said and then they started to kiss again under the shining starts.
