The stars came together to make you
You who sleeps with stuffed animals because childhood was something you never experienced
Never played with your friends because they didnt want to
You who still tries to deny them because where were they to teach you to read?
They are meant to be there but yours were there when things were good
The bad came and they left, disappeared like stars when the sun shines through them
An apology was what they never learned so they threw words at you like knives and never looked back
Promised you empty love in exchange for respect
But did not teach you that love was something you deserved
And so you distanced yourself , made yourself into a ball of nothing
Because after all, thats all you have been to your parents.
