Jungkook
Jungkook jolted awake from a loud rumble. It took a moment to take stock of where he was. Wiping drool from the corner of his mouth, he looked around the practice room, realising he was no longer alone. Within the half-light he could see Jimin moving slowly and precisely to a music track so low in volume it was barely audible.
He attempted to speak but fell silent on seeing the concentration on his hyung's face. Jungkook chose instead to just sat back and watch the boy move across the floor. It was beautiful. He wished he could do this all day. Just sit and admire the way his Jiminie could shift that body. Those slow silky moves displayed the power and control of a gymnast. Jungkook felt his stomach flip as he watched on. He pulled the hoodie that was wrapped around him, further up, till it covered his chin and breathed in the soapy scent of his friend.
Jimin suddenly looked his way and without stopping his routine flashed that smile. That big, wide one with screwed up eyes. God, Jungkook loved that smile. It was impossible not to return it with a beam equally as bright.
"Welcome back sleepyhead" Jimin called over while continuing to dance.
Jungkook accepted the greeting, then winced as he moved himself out of the awkward pose he'd slept in. His muscles ached everywhere but he didn't care.
"You ok?" Jimin frowned suddenly coming over to check on him.
"I'm fine, just tired" Jungkook replied, holding out his hand stopping Jimin from coming over, whilst slowly climbing to his feet.
"Don't stop your practice, I'm just going to freshen up in the restrooms, then I'll come and join you" he added, slowly staggering from the room.
Jungkook looked at his reflection in the bathroom mirror, he looked a mess, but felt a hell of a lot better than he did at 4am. He did his best to clean up, replacing his dirty shirt with Jimin's blue hoodie. Then he walked back down the corridor with a washed face and wet hair, listening to the hail hammering down on the roof. The lights flickered briefly as another rumble of thunder vibrated through the walls and Jungkook wondered just how bad the storm would get.
