Chapter 23-

I had a change of plans.. I'm not going home just yet. I feel bad for not telling the twins about the change but, they shouldn't mind too much. Instead of going home today, I'm going back to LA. The twins are also coming back to LA in like, two days. They don't know I'm going back to the team 10 house, so I'll be surprising them. I exhale as I throw my luggage up top and sit in my seat. Like any normal airplane ride, there's a little child screaming.

"I'm so sorry." The mom says trying to calm the baby. I smile and say, "It's fine, honestly. Can I..." I motion to grab the baby and she hands it over. The child stops crying and stares at me. "What's it's name?" I ask as the baby coos at me. "Her name is Thalia." (Pronounced Ta-li-uh) I smile and, without looking away, say "Such a pretty name. Hey! Just like off-" "Percy Jackson. Yeah." Thalia's mom interrupts. "I love Percy Jackson! So what's your name?" I ask finally looking away from the baby. She smiles,"Samantha. Yours?" I return her friendly smile, "Rebecca... " Thalia laughs as I talk to her and make faces. Samantha sighs, "You're so good with children. You must have some of your own." I chuckle and shake my head, "No. I wish but I think I'll wait.. Just not too long."

I think about my birthday coming up and Ivan and I blush. "Oh.. If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?" I lift the baby onto my legs and she bounces. "I'm 17 soon to be 18. You?" She chuckles, "Don't suppose you have a man? Im only 20." I nod, "I have... A boyfriend. He's a YouTuber. Also, how old is Thalia?" Samantha smiles brightly at her daughter, "She's 7 months.. Who's this guy of yours?" I blush, "His name is Ivan Martinez.." She gasps, "Ivan Martinez?! I love him and his brother! I know I'm 20 but STILL!" We laugh and she adds, "My 5 year old daughter loves them all too. She's always talking about Jake and the others!"
"She must take after her mom." I say joking. She nods and laughs. "What's her name?" She calm down and says, "Melanie." We talk more. She's actually living in Fresno California she's just never had the chance to meet them. "I've actually met the Why Don't We boys.." She says smirking. "No way! I've always wanted to meet them. You know, I think we've became friends.." She smiles, "Best friends." We continue to talk for the rest of the flight, Thalia finally goes to sleep. Sam and I planned for me to stay with her after we get off the plane. There, I would meet Melanie, Sam's husband and try to plan a meet for every one.

"Such a beautiful house!" I say as Samantha holds the door open for me, I'm currently holding the baby. "Thanks. My husband bought it for me last year." She says. "Joseph! Honey I'm back!" She calls out. A man comes around the corner with a huge grin on his face. It falters and he clears his throat, "Hi, I'm Joseph Wilson." I shake his hand and say, "Rebecca.... McNeil.." I stare into his strikingly bright green eyes and he smiles. "This is my new friend that I met on the plane!" Samantha says, causing Joseph to let my hand go. His hands are so soft. "Thanks.." He says chuckling. I blush, "S-Sorry.." They both laugh and Joseph nods.

"Melanie! Come meet mommy's new friend!" Samantha yells after handing the baby to her husband. A little girl with jet black hair skips into the living room. "Hey there." I say with a gentle smile. "Hi! My name is Melanie but you can call me Mel! What's your name?" I giggle and say, "My name is Rebecca, but you can call me Becca." She nods, "You're super pretty! How old are you?" I smile and go to answer when Samantha interrupts, "Melanie Wilson! You don't ask someone that." She looks embarrassed and apologizes. "It's fine! She's so cute." Joseph gives me one more glance before walking away with Mel and Thalia. "She's not wrong.." He mumbles and only I hear him.
"Thank you once again for letting me stay here. How old is your husband..?" Sam smiles, "No problem! My birthday is actually tomorrow and that's when I'll be 20. But Joe is 25." I nod, "I'm glad I can spend your birthday with you. I'm glad we've also became friends."
