Burn baby
David and Liza have been dating for a few years now. Every thing been going great. They just bought a new house together. David is busy decorating the last things. Liza is in the kitchen.
" already a week in this house baby" says Liza. " I know babe. What are we gonna eat, it smells delicious" Answered David. Liza giggles " thanks, mac and cheese" David walks in to the kitchen and hugs Liza from behind while Lisa is stirring the food. "I love you" David whispers in her ear. Liza begins to smile, she turns around and kisses David. " let me show you what I did in the living room" says David as he pulls Liza with him. He hung the clickbait sign on the wall above the sofa "I did that al by myself" he says proud. "Wow baby" she laughed. At the moment she wants to give David a hug the fire alarm went off.
Liza runs in to the kitchen. David follows and grabs his vlog camera and presses record. Liza starts to scream. "OMG, Liza!!" Shouted David as he saw fire in the kitchen. "What do we do!?" Liza says in panic " we don't have a Fire extinguisher!" " stay calm Liza, it'll be alright!" He said scared. "Quick put the lid on the pan and turn off the stove!" Liza does so, but the fire spread to the tissues and papers next to the stove. The fire is starting to spread more and more.
"David quick call the fire brigade !" " hello I'm David Dobrik. There is a fire in our house!" David gives the address and hangs the phone. He looks at Liza who's watching the fire and burst out in tears. David walks towards Liza and gives her a hug. He wipes away a tear from his cheek. "We should go outside before we're burning" they walk towards the door but stop immediately. "OMG we're trapped "
Liza screams as they see that the fire is in the hallway towards the front door.
David starts to cough just like Liza. The whole kitchen is full of black smoke. David is still recording as they run to the living room. They try to open the door that leads to the garden. It's locked! " I think the keys are in the bedroom!" Says Liza. David hands over the camera and runs to the bedroom. He goes through al the stuff. David comes back with Liza's stuffed elephant "I can't find *ugh* the keys!" and gives Liza her stuffed elephant. "I'll help you *uhh*search" says Liza. David and Liza are looking everywhere. Under the sofa, in the bad room. Liza gives up and walks back to the door. "David did you find it?" "Not yet *ugh ugh " they both can't stop coughing. Liza wipes away sweat from forehead. She looks at her hand, is't black. She looks at the reflection in the window and her face is al dirty from the smoke and ash.
David is now searching in the office. He looks in al the drawers. He opens the last drawer and there it is; the key! *bang! David quickly grabs the key and runs to the living room. But then he sees Liza on the ground.
"LIZA! Wake up!" He rolls Liza on her back and sees blood on her forehead from falling on the ground. "LIZA wake up, wake up" he screamed as he was shaking Liza trying to wake her. He puts his ear to her mouth to hear if she is breathing, luckily he can feel he warm breath. She passed out.
The camera lies on the ground, it's still recording. He picks it up and turns it off. He quickly opens the door, grabs the camera and the stuffed elephant and lifts Liza. As he steps outside he can already hear the sirens. He walks to the front lawn and lays Liza down on the grass. He sits next to her and looks at the house. You can see smoke coming out of the windows. He takes the camera and records the house. He films Liza laying in the grass and the fire truck that stops on the pavement and so is a ambulance.
Too firemen and one fire women jump out of the truck, grab a fire extinguisher and running in to the house to stop the fire. "Hello, my name is An and this is my coworker Brandon" one of the nurses says. "Hey, I'm David and *ugh this is *ugh Liza. I think she *ugh passed out" David tried to say but can't stop coughing.
Brandon gets a stretcher. An checks on Liza. "She will be alright." An says calming. Brandon and An lift Liza on to the stretcher. An helps David on his feet and walks him to the ambulance. He sits down next to Liza. An puts a oxygen mask on Liza. David grabs her hand and gives her a kiss. The doors close and they drive of. The whole ride David holds on tight to Liza's hand. As they arrive at the hospital Brandon rides Liza to her room. "David are you coming with me, I just have to check on you?" She asks sweetly. After An is done David goes to Liza' room. " are you Liza's boyfriend?" The doctor asks.
"Yes I am, I just want to see her" David responds. "I'm sorry, but she not awake yet, you can wait here" the doctor said An left. David sat down next to the door. He looked at the video he recorded. He saw the flames in the kitchen, Liza starting crying and himself searching for the key. He started to feel a tear falling down his cheek. The house, their new house, Liza unconscious. It was to much. He ran to the restroom and bursts out in tears. Fifteen minutes later David calmed down. He sat on the chair next to the door. Then the doctor came out. " she a wake" he said. David walked inside. Liza smiled when he came in. "Are you alright?" He asks. "Tired, but fine" David gives her a hug and says; " this is gonna be some good clickbait"
