"Alright! Let's go, Incineroar!" I yelled, and sent out my Incineroar, and commanded it to use Darkest Lariat, and it attacked the defending Decidueye, causing it to fall back, and faint. "Awe man! Why do you always go so hard against me? Poor Blathers!" My little brother, asked me, looking up into my eyes, and laying his Pokésystem down on the table. The way he stared into my eyes, I began to feel bad for not taking it so easy on him.

Oh, by the way, Blathers is the nickname for his Decidueye. "I'm sorry , Elias. I guess that makes us even, considering Mom made me wait another year to start my journey so we could start the same day. I mean, I could've already started a year, 2 months, 3 days, 30 mi-" "OKAY! I GET IT! Let's just get mom to take us to get our Pokémon already!" He said excitedly, jumping up and down so fast, I could've sworn he was using Agility on me. "Okay, let's go dude." I said, putting both of my hands on his shoulders, holding him so he wasn't jumping.

"MOM! MOM! MOM! MOOOOMMMMMM!" Elias kept saying loudly, as he dragged me by my collar down the stairs to the store our mother owned. "Yes Elias?" She said, as she handed a plate of Malasada to a young guy on the other side of the counter. "ARE YOU GONNA TAKE US TO GET OUR POKÉMON YET?" He said very loudly and with so much excitement, that I couldn't help let my excited out. "YEAH MOM! PLEASE! LET'S GOOOO!" I said, and she laughed. "We are supposed to be there at 3:00, it's only 2:49." She said. "Let's hurry up and go then!!!" Elias said, and she smiled. "Julie, take over for me, k?" She asked Julie, who nodded. "Go pack up, kids." Mom said, and we walked upstairs and packed two bookbags of our stuff each.

After we were finished, we walked outside, and Mom called a Ride Pokémon: Charizard. Mom and Elias hopped on, and I hesitated. I've been scared of heights since i was little, but I thought about getting my first Pokémon, and practically forgot about my fears and jumped on. "Take us to Paniola Town's Day Care in Akala Island." My mother said, and the Charizard launched into the air at a very great speed, and we were there within minutes.

Our mother pushed her hair out of her face and jumped off. Elias and I got off, somewhat traumatized. Our hair was super wind-blown, and Mom said "You kids'll get used to it." She said. The Charizard launched into the air, and it disappeared into the clouds. "Well, c'mon!" She said, and dragged us inside. "Hey Mrs. Olivem." The Day Care Lady greeted us. "Good afternoon, Carilyn." Our mom said. "Is it time already?" Carilyn asked. Mom nodded. Carilyn walked into the back, and came back with three Pokéballs. "Well, Xavier, Elias, go ahead and pick your Pokémon." Our mother told us. Elias ran over and and opened all three Pokéballs, revealing a Litten, a Rowlet, and a Popplio. Elias grabbed Rowlet's Pokéball before i could even decide which one I wanted. "I'm naming you Blathers!" He said, and Blathers jumped on Elias' head, and began chewing on Elias' hair playfully. Elias laughed, as though it tickled. I smiled at that scene, it practically melted my heart, or something. I didn't notice that the Litten had strolled over, and began nuzzling my leg.

The Popplio just looked at us, smiling. I didn't realize that there would be a Pokémon left over, and I frowned. "Mom. There is three Pokémon, and 2 of us. What is gonna happen to the left over Pokémon?" I asked concerned. "They are the kids of my Pokémon, so I am gonna keep it, of course." She said. I sighed in relief, and picked up the Litten. "Do you wanna go on a journey with me?" I asked it. The Litten licked my cheek, kinda burning me. "Alright! I choose you!" I said.

"Alright kiddos, let's take you to the Pokémon school." My mom said. Elias and I groaned. "Awe come onnnnn. We hate school." We groaned in unison. Mom sighed. "I can't just send you off in the wild, and expect you to survive, that's terrible parenting. Besides, I already registered you guys there." She said. We gave up and nodded. "Well, we should be getting to Melemele Island, c'mon boys." She said, and walked outside, and called another Ride Pokémon: Charizard and we flew to Melemele Island.

2 minutes later, we landed in front of the school. We walked inside, and mom directed us to the Main Office. "Mrs. Olivem, you are early." A tan man said. "Well, they were so excited to start school." Mom said. "No we weren't." Elias said. The man laughed, and introduced himself. "My name is Samson Oak, call me Sam." He said. "This school isn't like a regular school though, we don't do paper tests and stuff. We actually teach you how to battle, how to catch Pokémon, all sorts of fun stuff." He said. I actually thought that it sounded kinda fun. "Sounds better than what I thought it would be." I said. And Elias agreed. "Meet me here at 9am tomorrow morning. Here is the key to your room." He said, and handed us a key, with "B-7" on a circular keychain attached to the key. "Feel free to walk around campus and meet some other students. But be in your room by 10pm." He said. We nodded. And with that, we left the room, and walked upstairs to the B floor, which wasn't the second floor. This building has 9 floors. The A floor is the 9th floor, meaning the B floor is the 8th, just so you know.

After 19 minutes, we finally arrived at our room, and we walked inside. There were 2 bunkbeds on each side of the room. One side of the room was decorated with pictures, posters, and all sorts of things. "I GOT TOP BUNK!" Elias yelled and climbed up the ladder, and within minutes, he already had part of the room decorated. I unpacked, and as I was, the door opened, and two other boys walked in, and noticed us. "Oh, look, it's new students! Just like us!" The darker skinned one said. "My name is Hau, and this is Sun!" Hau said. "Sup." Sun said.

"My name is Elias, and this is Neko, but his real name is Xavier." Elias said, and I elbowed him. "I told you not to call me that!" I said, blushing. Elias laughed, and so did Sun and Hau. "But yes, my name is Xavier." I said, and continued to pack up. Hau shook my hand, and grinned . "Wanna go out for some Malasada?" Hau asked. Sun sighed. "You know there is more to the world that Malasada right?" Sun said. Hau rubbed the back of his neck and laughed. "Yeah, that is true, but" He said. "I am the one paying soooo." He continued. "How about I cook our dinner?" Elias suggested and I instantly nodded. "His cooking is delicious!" I said. "I am definitely in." Sun said, and Hau sighed. "Fine, but tomorrow we are going out for Malasada." he mumbled. "I can cook Malasada, if that's what you want." Elias sighed and facepalmed. "Alright!" Hau grinned, "Let's eat!"
