Chapter 8 "Is Today The Day?"

Caleb POV

I pull up in the parking lot and I park my car, as I park my car it starts struggling to stay alive then shuts off. I pop the hood and start tweaking all the parts I think might be broken. I feel someone slap my ass and lean next to me, of course, its Claire "how you doin' Caleb" i look straight at her "fine" then I continue working on my car "oh, is it that time of the month for you too?"my eyes widen "eww, Claire, no" I get back to work "so Red told me about what happened this morning, y'know waking up in his bed, nearly kissing on the sidewalk in front of work, that kind of shit" I turn on my car and start revving it trying to block out anything else she was going to say.

I grab my keys and I close the door "alright, I have a crush on him ok? anything else you need to know?" she looks me with a 'I knew it' type of face "oh and why didn't you kiss him?" ugh seriously "I have social anxiety, kissing a guy in front of even 1 person gives me anxiety, I mean you might be an exception but strangers, no thanks" she gives me a little punch on the shoulder and keeps walking. I make my way to the cafeteria to see Red sitting where we usually sit, I take a deep breath and I start making my way towards him.

Claire pushes me on top of Red making our noses touch, we stay like that till Claire sits down "damn you Claire" I say "your welcome, i'm only helping you build a relationship" I lean across the table getting as close to Claire as possible and I whisper in her ear "you're going to die." I sit back on the seat "just admit it, you two both want to be together, Caleb wants to wait a bit cause its 'too early' and Red just wants to get in your pants" we both punch Claire in both of her arms "oww don't punch me just cause i'm telling the truth, i've heard both sides of the story" Red and I both put our hoods on and look away. "alright but, I do have a point, i've only known the guy for thr-" before i could finish Red jumped on me and kissed me right then and there, he pulled away from the kiss but before he could get up I pulled him back and kissed some more, everyone else in the cafeteria whistled and giggled, but trust me I heard some 'ewww's' in there.
