Madara held the dying body of his soul mate, Naruto Namikaze. Someone had broken into their home and ran Naruto through with their sword.
"I guess I'll see you on the other side, ne?" Naruto said before the light left his eyes completely. Madara let out a scream of pure agony and heartbreak. Anyone who heard this scream would instantly feel sorry for the person who screamed even if that person was Madara Uchiha a legendary god of shinobi.
Madara hugged the unmoving body in his arms tightly. For what seemed to be the first time in Madaras life, he cried. Madara sobbed as his life was nothing to him, not without Naruto.
After Madara had buried Naruto's body - March 5th
"I swear Naruto, I will achieve ultimate tsukiyomi, so I can see your smiling face even if it is just an illusion its still you," Madara said looking down at the grave of the only one he had ever loved.
Madara couldn't see the lightly glowing blue figure that stood behind the grave.
"I'm sorry Madara, I love you, but I can't let you destroy the futures of many, I will reincarnate and stop you in your tracks I promise you that," Naruto's ghost said as his body was enveloped in rays of the sun light and he disappeared.
