The church, a place for funerals to be normally held. However the people of Ridgefield weren't normal. Never were never will be.

Mr Jenkins, Allys step dad arranged a magnificent hall illuminated by bright white lights from lavish chandeliers as a symbol of purity and innocence. Because thats what everyone thought Ally was. Pure,Innocent,Decent

So majestic had it looked, someone would have easily confused it with a celebration. An event filled with joy in occurrence of a miracle or an accomplishment of a mission.

Ladies dressed in navy blue and jet black dresses with neatly combed hair styles, pretending to be here for the mourning of a girl they only knew by name and not for the paparazzi photographer to establish an article related to who came and supported Mr and Ms Jenkins at their lost.

Gentlemen  in black tuxedos with red ties as per Ms Anna, Allys mom theory about red being the colour of innocence, talking lowly among each other. Starving for any new news regarding their rivals  business conditions and trying to strike partnership with them were roaming around.

Sitting at the back, I felt like a spider, tangled in its ownweb of lies.

Ms Anna finally decided to grace the occasion with her presence. Dressed in a white gown, she looked exactly like Allison's replica or maybe the other way around. Identical chocolate brown eyes and dark brown hair with tan skin.

The funeral finally started and after everybody had read there eulogies, they all departed from their seats. Some promoted their companies while the others were interviewed by the paparazzi. I took this as my cue to return back to home, however fate had other plans.

"Clara dear?" Ms Anna's warm hand on my shoulder made me turn around and come face to face with red blood shot eyes. I acknowledged her with a nod and gentle smile and waited for what behold me.

"How are you holding up?"

After Allys death, all I had ever received were looks of pity and accusation. Pity for the girl whose bestfriend died and accusation for not helping or seeing what her best friend was going through. However, Ms Anna had nothing but sympathy in her eyes.
"I am fine. How are you?"

Her face, drained with exhaustion and dark bags around her eyes instantly made me realize how terrible that question was itself. She just gave me a warm smile and continued.

"I was hoping if you could pack up Allys possessions for the orphanage? She.. I dont think she would be pleased if anyone else touched them."

I nodded and rushed upstairs. Towards the room which had Ally hanging upside down from her bed singing to some of her unknown song and dancing while waiting for me.

The white walls, imprinted with Live, Laugh, Love in golden welcomed me. This had been her motto since forever. Ofcourse that and the circle of life. However the meanings hadn't made much more sense to me at any other time than at this moment.

Her room looked different. Without her clothes scattered everywhere and one of her gazillion gadgets charging in different corners. Without her sleeping on her bed mumbling incoherent words with a book beside and TV blasting some cartoon.

Everything was almost packed. Her belongings, her paintings, her family pictures. Just her closet. Being the organized person she was, her closet was almost cleaned. Everything neatly packed and folded. I collected them in the box her mum gave to me and kept them together. Her last drawer had shoes most of which were sneakers and vans. I placed them aswell.

After about half an hour of packing up all the things and collecting what I thought were more personal and shouldn't me given, I made my way out of the closet but being the tall person I was, my forehead bumped against one the cupboards and from it fell down a box.

A box of brown colour with 0408 0115 0316 0217  incoded on it and neatly packed with a tape.
