Chapter 6 (Phone Calls)

HEY DEAR READERS, I JUST WANTED TO GIVE Y'ALL A LIL FLASHBACK SO YOU GUYS DONT FEEL LOST WHILE READING THIS CHAPTER.

SO IN THE FIRST CHAPTER AT THE END I MENTION THAT THE ONLY OTHER FRIEND I HAD APART FROM ALEX, WAS A FRIEND THAT LIVED IN LONDON HER NAME IS ISABEL.

"Gina, this is Mr. Matt Hunter, your boss."

"Mr. Hunter this is Gina your new secretary."

I noticed in Gina eyes a sparkle when she saw Matt, I'm serious is not only because he's my boyfriend, I'm not being jealous but she really seemed to get excited meeting him, however Matt barely noticed her he had a meeting and left toward the other office.

" Gina today I'm gonna tell you what you need to do, but starting tomorrow I will not tell you what you need to do since Mr. Hunter is your boss not me." I told Gina

"Sure" Gina nodded.

After I informed Gina everything she had to do, I head back to my desk where I had a task of paper calling me to come work on them, ok, maybe not calling me, but I had a lot of work today.

However after a while of working on the task of papers I heard my cellphone ringing inside my purse, I immediately duck down underneath my desk where I always placed my purse to reach for my phone. When I saw my phone I noticed that there where no caller ID something that caught my eyes since I usually don't answer to unknown numbers, you know safety first, but in this case I just had the feeling of answering it and so I did.

-Hello- I said.

-Hey! I heard a familiar voice from the other side say, but I didn't really know who was it.

-Who is it ? I asked, now feeling anxious for an answer.

- Addison, you freak you don't even remember me anymore, the other person said.

I immediately knew by her answer who it's was, she was the only person who would call me a "freak "

-Geeeeshhh !!! I let out a loud sight. Isabeeeelll I said excitedly dragging even more the letters then you should, oh boy when you talk to your friends. "long time no talk! How are you ? Bushy head."

Bushy head , ha ha, I smiled at the sound of that my self. But you see ever since I know Isabel,long time ago when we're just teenagers, she used to have really long hair yet at the same time she had a lot of hair, so that's the story behind that nick name.

-I'm great, she chirped sounding excited how are you ?

-I'm fine, I answered.

-Good to know she said...Actually the reason of this phone call is to let you know that im here in NY, and I want to see you so badly I miss you!

- Oh my goooooosssshhhhh ! Are you freaking serious Izi ? I gasped.

-Yeah, so when can we met?

I paused for a minute to think when was my schedule clear, but I had late work nights, but, I mean she's my best friend I can't wait tell like Saturday to see her. I had to clear one day specially for her.

-Tomorrow nigh at 7. Is that okey with you? I asked.

I remembered that I had planned on having dinner with Matt at my place, so why not invite Izi to have dinner with us right? Besides I have no other day free.

-Addison, that's perfect for me.

-Oh, by the way, it will not be only the too of us, my boyfriend will be there too. I said.

-Oh no problem, actually I can't wait to meet the guy that has stolen your heart. She said.

What she just said, actually made me blush, it sounded so..so...so romantic. That was about it we've said our goodbyes and hung up. I was really happy, you know since Alex died, I've been lacking of a friend, don't get me wrong I have Matt but still I can't tell him how I can't stop thinking about him all day, or the butterflies I feel every time he looks at me... You know stuff like that, the stuff you talk with your bestfriend.

"Woah, earth calling Addison! "

I heard Matt almost screaming, bringing me back from my lets call it "day dreaming "

- What are you doing here? I asked.

-Geesh, that sounds as if you don't want to see your handsome boyfriend, he said pouting.

I couldn't help the smirk from forming in my face, he looked insanely adorable pouting.

- Sorry babe, I was just thinking, and you caught me by surprise I thought you'd still be at that meeting, but on the bright side your here now and I can tell you something.I said.

- What you needed to tell me?he asked, leaning forward getting nearer my face, he was making me feel this weird sensation down my spine, boy he got me crazy in love.

-I hmm, invited someone else to our date?

-Really, who'd you invited, wait let me guess, you are so kind that you invited the new secretary because she felt like this job will be consuming a lot of time and felt insanely sad, so you invited her to have a good meal. Matt said with the biggest grin in his face since he was obviously teasing me.

-No silly, I didn't invited Gina but I ended invited Isabel my best friend that came from London, do you mind?

-Of course not babe I don't mind not at all, I want to meet your friend that seemed to put a big smile on your adorable, blushy face. He said

That made me blush harder. -Yes I'm really happy, and I will be much happier when I have two of the people I love most eating dinner with me in apartment. I added.

Suddenly Matt just leaned all the way to my mouth and started kissing me like if it been since for ever the last time he kissed me. At the end we were both gasping for air.

So left this chapter till here because I don't want it be so long.

Btw! Sorry for the late update, I just had a hard time figuring what I really wanted to write, and been so busy with school and other stuff. Sorry.
