Algee eyes followed you as you paced  back and forth. Your daughter, Lori is way past her curfew and is having Algee worried sick. You on the other hand, is counting this as her last strike.

Lori has been acting up lately. Skipping school, hanging out with the wrong crowd. She even got caught vandalizing property with her boyfriend, having you and Algee bail her out. She always been a good girl but she's taking the age of 17 to the head. Many times you forgave her but kept a close eye on her, all she had to do was stay in school, make good grades and come home before 9:00 on school nights. You let her go to the movies with her friends, but y'all low-key what was really going on. You just didn't want to put that thought in your head.

Sighing, Algee stood and grabbed your hand making you look at him, "Don't worry she'll be here!" You only shook his head "You don't know what I'm going to do to her, G! I might even strangle her!" He jumped back some. You never gotten so angry that you talk about hurting your own daughter.

"No Y/N you can't-" lights pulled up to your window and Algee peeped outside only to find Lori getting off a motorcycle and kissing her boyfriend. He  felt his blood boil "Cause I'm going to do it!" You had to hold him back from going outside. "Wait for her to come inside okay? This is going to be a calm conversation...okay?" He nodded and exhaled.

The door unlocked and before Lori could even step in-

"WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU?" so much for calm.

Lori dropped the keys and her jacket that was covering a revealing dress.

You gasped and shook your head

You gasped and shook your head. "What do you have on?" Algee yelled, Lori just shrugged "Nothing" "Exactly, nothing! You're practically naked!" He wrapped her back up. For a 17 year old your daughter has a nice shape. She's basically up there with you!

"I'm so disappointed in you Lorain." You said. She gave you a look that made you want to snatch her ass up but you stopped yourself. "What for? I'm just, what? Three hours late. Be glad I came home at all!"

"You see that mouth! That mouth and your actions are what makes us disappointed in you. We tried everything in our power to help you! We did not raise you like this and you know it." Algee rubbed his hands on his face. It was quiet and you thought he got to her but all she did was scoff in response "Oh well. I'm 17 I'm basically an adult!" That is what made you snap.

"Oh so now you an adult? You wanna be grown huh?! If you are why did you call us to come get your stupid ass  from the police station when you got caught vandalizing shit? Matter of fact since you're so "grown" get out!" Your words surprised both her and Algee.

"Babe, calm down. Don't you think-"
"No, Algee I'm tired of her disrespecting us and our wishes. We gave her everything and she's acting like a parent-less child out there." You faced Lori "I'm tired of your shit! I'm not going to push myself to the grave for your ass!" You grabbed her and tugged her to her room. You grabbed a bag and went to her closet "Mom? Mama what are you doing?" Her voice was cracking. She watched you as you finished.

"All the shit we bought you stays here." You walked past her and dropped the bag by the front door and crossed your arms. Lori's lip quivered as she looked at Algee "Daddy do something!" You shook your head in disbelief knowing Algee was going to go soft for her. Instead he shook his head "Don't look at me, you wasn't crying when you was acting up. You're right. You're 17 basically an adult, so you're going to get treated like one. There you go!" She started crying when Algee turned his back and watched tv. You impatiently tapped your foot "I have work in the morning come on!" Lori dragged herself to pick up her bag. "I'm sorry, it's not going to happen again!" You shook your head "Its too late for that, Lorain. You had plenty of chances!" She held her head down and realized you guys were serious.

"Where am I suppose to go?"
"Your boyfriend has a place doesn't he? That's where you be going all the time, right?" She left her mouth agape and stepped back when the door slammed in her face. Calling up her boyfriend, Lori wiped away her tears.

"That was a little too harsh don't you think?" Algee raised both his eyebrows.  "What? You wasn't going to do it! She needs to learn that we are not going to keep dealing with her. I don't want Auriel, getting the idea." Just then your six year old daughter came downstairs rubbing her eyes.

"Mommy, where is LoLo going?" Algee picked her up  "To a friend house, come on let's get you back to bed." Algee left to go tuck her back in.

You sighed and felt the tears coming.  You loved your daughter, you truly did but you had another to worry about.
