wrong for trying
just because you choose a person
doesn't mean they're right for you
just because you love a person
doesn't mean they're the one for you
so much of what we feel for someone
can be so one-sided and yet we think
that if we give that person
more than they deserve
that somehow it'll change
the way they feel about us
