Fyth: The Land of Myth and Legend

Chapter 1: The Taking

"Hold me tighter." Ellen requested to Josh as they layer on the beach looking up at the dancing stars in the sky.  Josh wrapped his arms around his love and tightly enclosed her upon request.  Then suddenly there was a noise. Ellen gasped but Josh was quick to quite her by giving her his hand for reassurance.   "Be still." whispered Josh and then he quickly reached beside himself for the little red button in which he pushed hastily.  Creeping along their bodies came slowly a thin sheet.  This camouflage blanket made them almost impossible to see.

      The year was 2021.  The planet was Fyth.  In 2018, when astronauts were searching for life on other planets, they found this strange land.  This is the land of dreams.     In this ex ordinary world everything exists.  There were fairies, pixies, nymphs, unicorns, dragons. Everything that we believed to be myth was true and thriving on Fyth.  

       When humans come to The Land of Make Believe some of the creatures where very unhappy with our greedy behavior.  These villainous creatures converted to kidnapping, injuring, and imprisoning.  Man was blind to this at first because they so love the land and its creatures. They lost contact with our world for the love of theirs (or what they called theirs).  Once peoples' eyes opened to the danger they began to cower for they were unsure of the unreal animal’s powers.  Human intelligence (instead of making weapons) learning to make ways to hid and stay safe.  So that brings us to the part of the story where I left off. 

         Josh's tried to stay as lifeless as possible but this task was quiet easy for Ellen for she was frozen with fear.  Suddenly the couple heard voices talking from beyond the sheet. "I can't believe those nasty creatures are still here." said a voice that was unmistakable one of a pixie.  "Only a little longer, Prince Alexander, the war will start soon."  "I cannot stand for this. Why don't we attack them before any of those greedy, uneducated fools can discover our plan and prepare." complained the prince.  "They don't expect anything and are too lame to figure anything out." replied, who Ellen would describe as, the prince's advisor.  "How will we declare war, my Prince?" "By killing their king, the head astronaut."  Ellen, shocked by this answer, quickly looked into Josh's eyes and whisper, "That's my father.”  Josh already knew this and saw that Ellen was worried so he held her even tighter.  Then came the whining voice of the future king, "We should kill him tonight."  Without thinking, Josh sprang out from beneath the blanket, revealing himself and his love.  "No you won't!" Josh exclaimed with a fiery passion.  "And who's going to stop me?" questioned the price in a smart tone. "Where did you come from?" asked the advisor who was quiet surprised with Josh's sudden entrance.  "Me." Josh replied to the price's question.  "Where did you come from?" exclaimed the advisor once again.  Then suddenly Josh and the prince broke out into a fist battle.  The Price took into the sky and swiped his fist for Josh's head but Josh just dodged  it.  Then Josh replied with the same action.  Now it was the Prince's turn.  He threw a kick at Josh hitting him in the chest and watched as Josh fell to the ground.  "Take the girl." the Prince commanded his advisor.  So swiftly but quickly the advisor grabbed Ellen's wrist and the two pixies flew away.  The last thing that Josh heard them say was, "I still don't know where he came from."
