Lucy's POV:
I woke with a start as I realised the surprise meeting with my parents had ended.
I looked around to see I was in the guild's infirmary, which seemed odd to me until my slow brain realised that I was probably kept there to heal. It was dark, but I somehow managed to see with the little moonlight seeping through the windows next to me.
Natsu's head was on my lap and I then realised that he was holding my hand. I started to blush, but a small smile came on my face as I continued to look around the room.
Levy was sleeping on Gajeel's lap, Erza and Mira were leaning against eachother in the corner. Cana was leaning against two barrels of her beer, probably empty, while holding a smaller one between her legs. Gray looked a little uncomfortable as Juvia held onto him for dear life, yet said girl looked peaceful. Lisanna laid on Elfman and Bixlow's laps, with Evergreen close by. I mentally awed and thanked whatever good karma I had for these friends of mine that stayed behind for me.
Someone clearing their throat made me jump slightly as I looked towards the door. My expression softened as I saw my grandfather with a knowing look on his face.
Directly behind, towering over the small man was my cousin looking surprisingly awkward. Looks like he found out our little family secret.
My grandpa was the first to say something as I just stared at them thinking of what they thought about being my family.
"Lucy, I'm sure you've been well informed about the situation. I'm sorry about hiding the fact that we are family as well as you Laxus." Laxus nodded his head stiffly as I gave them a tiny smile.
"I'm sure we'd have a lot to talk about, but it's quite late and you both need some rest, Lucy, I'm sure you'll feel as good as new with sleep, come to my office tomorrow morning." and just like that my grandfather left with a cheeky grin along with my cousin, leaving me time to wonder what that smile as for.
Sigh,
that was a good reunion.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next morning I woke up bright and early to sneak out of the guild in hopes of not being questioned, and surprisingly luck was on my side for once as I used my ninja skills to hop out of the window. I felt a little cold leaving Natsu's hand, but I dismissed the tingly feeling, before I dubbed myself as a creepy weirdo.
Now I know what you're thinking, how the hell did I just jump out of a window with the amount of injuries I sustained.
I don't know either.
Probably a weird family trait thing. My parents did say that on my own, memories and other odd things would start happening. In a way, with all this crap happening in my life, nothing seemed too unbelievable anymore. I feel like if I found out that I was related to Happy, I'd just go with the flow and believe it.
Yup, I would.
I took the main roads to get home this time, because of a certain prick. It wasn't like I was scared, it was more like I would want to beat the douche bag out of Rubin if I saw him, but I knew that I couldn't match him at my current state let alone fight him. That thought brought me back to my training. It would be amazing to get stronger, in the time I was with fairy tail, I did feel as if I could unlock so much more, but I didn't get a proper chance until now.
And that made me excited.

After taking a much needed shower, I went back to the girlhood remembering the chat with my family. Luckily the window to the infirmary was still open, so I opted to climb through it again. As I pulled my last leg inside, I turned around to go to the office, but as soon as I faced forward I was met with the glares of over half the guild. A sheepish smile came to my lips, I felt like a little kid again as I was scolded by my friends and master. What ticked me off though was that Natsu was treating me as if I was an idiot.
He's the idiotic one around here.
Nine minutes later, I was still in the middle of getting more disapproving looks by Erza, a full body check by Natsu, and a long lecture about my health by Wendy, but everyone's attention was grabbed by Levy as she exclaimed the one thing that I would've liked to know the answer to as well.
"LU, HOW THE HELL DID YOU JUMP OUT OF THE FREAKING WINDOW WITH THE BODY OF A BANGED UP MUMMY?!?"
And what did I respond with?
A measly shrug.
w(°o°)w
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME LUCY!!"
I covered my ears due to how loud they had been. Once the noise calmed down, I cracked an eye open to see everyone waiting impatiently, I stared at master then. If he was family then atleast he'd know what was going on.
After a while he sighed and motioned me over, as soon as he did though everyone started following him to.
I rolled my eyes at that, though master just screamed at everyone to wait down in the main hall.I walked into the office a few moments later and was kind of happy to see my cousin waiting there, though with an impatient scowl. As soon as he saw us, he jumped up to sit beside me in front of an old desk that was piled to the brim with what seemed to be bills.
Master took one look at the pile and sighed, mumbling about how it looked bigger than last night's one.
He turned serious though as he sat down and looked at me. He started to explain the situation to Laxus, who was only told about being part of the Heartfillia family. After he told us about my training, apparently I was the only that would train away from the guild, while everyone else would prepare in their own way, like preparing for the Grand magic games.
I asked about how I had healed so quickly and all received was a secretive smile and a short explanation saying my parents and other important guardians would explain.
I just sighed in defeat at that. Don't even ask me who those other guardians were, probably those that will be my trainers soon."Now, I know that was very limited knowledge, but that's all your mother has allowed me to tell you. I also want to tell the guild, I've already informed some other guild masters about the prophecy. Let's go!"
Laxus and I nodded and then followed Master's small figure out.Master's POV:
As I led my grandchildren to the main hall, I tried to hide the excitement that I had been hiding for the last year, when Lucy joined fairy tail. The little mage I had seen grow up was taken away from all of us in a blink of an eye, but now I could announce it to the world about who this child is to me.As I went up on the stage, Lucy and Laxus went to their respective teams while I tried to calm everyone down.
From the corner of my eye, I could see Lucy sweat dropping at something Erza had showed her, probably a new armour design. It relieved me somewhat that my little granddaughter had made good bonds in the guild.
I whistled as loud as my old lungs could take and stared at each of my children's faces.
I cleared my throat and started to tell them about Lucy and her prophecy.
Shit is about to go down.
