So when I last left off, that single guy and I had a weird night. Well, a few days later my friend gave him my number. So we talked for a month and I thought he was pretty cool. He was, in fact, one of the funniest people I've met in a while. Well, after a lot of awkwardness, he asked me out. For the first time in my life when I liked someone, they didn't think I was repulsive or ugly or weird or stupid, etc.
So our relationship lasted about a month. It ended because he texted me if we could just be friends. When I asked why, he just said, "I've just always seen you as a friend,"...though he was the one who asked me out. I was hurt since it was my 13th rejection in about 6 months.
Where I live we have this thing called the Peanut Festival, since we mostly grow peanuts here. Welp, guess who I saw...a really tall guy wearing a Mr. Peanut costume. I also saw the guy who broke up with me.
I was with my guy best friend at the time and I pointed at him and said, "That's the dude." And he proceeded to glare at him with so much hatred. He saw him glaring and just looked confused until he saw me. My friend then said, "Imma bout to go over there and smack a bit-" "NO!" I yelled.
So the dude walked away with his friends but looked really concerned (as he should have been). So that happened and for the rest of the time when he saw him he glared at him, sending him unspoken threats such as, "if she wasn't here I'd go over there and smack you."
So yeah. That's the recent events......why are my friends like this?
Oh yeah, and my other friend did go over there and almost murder him. So that happened too....yep.
