Alec's POV
I arrived at home late at night because of the hectic work at office only to be surprised to see my parents and sister waiting for me. My name is Alec Ryder, my parents Christopher and Jade Ryder and my sister Crystal Ryder . I was happy to see them but didn't show it on my face after seeing their worried faces.
I went near them and asked them "What happened why are you so worried?" Due to tiredness my voice came out like I was groaning which made my sister laugh but stop after i glared at her and my mom made a worried face. My mom was the closest to me and understood me every time without me saying a word. But seeing their tensed face i knew something was wrong. I was an undercover agent and no one knew except for my best friend Hayden who was also my colleague. Everyone thought that I was working as an investment consultant in a bank even my family. Hayden asked me to tell my family every time but i always averted the topic. I didn't want my family to worry about me. I arranged for some bodyguards to protect my family and report me of their well being time to time. My dad then answered my question with a slight angered tone ,"What are you hiding from us?" To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I was startled by his sudden question and answered stammering,"W..wh..what are you tal..talking about?"
