A Hogwarts Reunion

"Please raise your wands." The Headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry said, to the seventh and eighth year students. The head boy and girl were the first to do as instructed, their peers following soon after them.

The Head Boy and Girl looked at each other as the said the phrase they'd practiced for months, at Mcgonagall's request. "Alumni ad graduates ab", a piercing flash of pure white shot from their wands. The Head Girl smiled, as she watched her classmates copy their actions.

McGonagall looked at the Head Boy and Girl expectantly. "This year," The Head girl started, " has been unlike any other year at this school. We returned this year, knowing some of us wouldn't be joined by our friends for various reasons, I'm not going to say that was easy, because it wasn't. I would have been lost if Ginny and Hermione hasn't came back to finish this year, but like most of you, I had friends that didn't return. Even so, something extraordinary happened this year." She said with a smile, "We managed to do something, our previous Headmaster had wanted for years; We finally have house unity. I'm so proud of each of you, the idea of all of us getting along was a long shot, but it happened and I couldn't be anymore proud." She said proudly. "And even though Head Boy won't admit to it he is too." She added with a smirk.

"I will too admit I am proud." His masculine voice said. "It isn't easy for all of us to get along, especially two certain houses," He said eyeing the Head girl. "But I'm proud to say that we have done what should have been done a long time ago. Were all united now, we aren't just Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, and Slytherin anymore, were Hogwarts, a united school."

"Miss. Dumbledore, Mr. Malfoy on behalf of Hogwarts, I thank you for calling a truce in your rivalry and uniting the houses. I'm sure I speak for both the students and faculty when I say that." The Headmistress says, giving the two students a rare smile.

Alyssum Anastasia Dumbledore (-Snape), daughter of Emily Dumbledore and Severus Snape, smiled proudly at the woman whom her grandfather had been so fond of. "It's a shame to see such a lovely Gryffindor go." Minerva said, putting a hand on Alyssum's shoulder. Draco Malfoy looked over at the two female's and smiled slightly. He'd found a soft spot for the Head girl, while being forced to spend most of his day with her this last year. They'd became great friends.

"Congratulations, Hogwarts Class of 1999!" The Headmistress said along with the Heads.

After graduation Alyssum Dumbledore fled to France were she completed Auror training. Soon after her training was complete the Australian Minister requested her to be transfered to Australia for training to be the next Australian Minister if Magic, just as her Mother once was. Alyssum accepted the transfer and the offer to be trained as the next minister of magic.

After his graduation Draco Malfoy took a vacation with his parents to America where he was introduced to an Auror training program. He had quite liked America, but alas there was a country that was shirt on Auror's so he was transfered. Although he liked America, he found he took a liking to the healer classes that were offered at night in Australia, where he was transfered.

For the first couple months after Draco's transfer he was stuck with paper work, until a fatal accident happened and an Auror need a new partner. Draco had been doing paperwork, until he was called into Head Auror, Melissa Smith's office where he was assigned to meet his new partner in the conference room. Draco was ecstatic to finally get some action, he wasn't the same cowardly boy he once was, he was now a courageous man who wanted to people.

Alyssum sat in the conference room fiddling with her fingers. She'd recently lost her partner, Adeline to a group of rouge wizards. Least to say when she saw the door handle turning she was put on edge. When the door finally opened and Alyssum saw who stood there, she actually slipped out off the chair and fell on her ass.
"Draco!" She had shouted with surprise in her voice, as she popped up from the ground.
