I was always there. Standing, watching, judging. For some reason I found the strange white haired, teal eyed boy interesting. He was just so kind. He braved bullies and others for his grandmother. Plus he was kind of cute. You should have seen my mother's face when I said that. Never brave enough to talk to him, I stayed in the shadows. He eventually left to build come a soul reaper. I still stood there, no emotion, grasping my locket.

Unlike most of the souls here I remember my life as a living human. At least up to a month before my death. This locket was given to me by my beloved. The last memory of him is a bit foggy, but that white haired boy reminded me of him. Oh well. The sad part about it is that I cannot open the locket. But there is a charm that can open it, it is shaped like a sun/star.

A giggle. That's what I heard. I just graduated from the Academy, my zanpaktu, Mizaki, was strapped on my hip. I turned around to see a girl. She had dark hair that was pulled into a bun, walking next to her is the man I now called Captain. The girl and Captain were holding hands, I don't know why but it ticked me off. I unintentionally let out a growl...opps. Captain turned his head around and narrowed his eyes at me.
