Kido

-Kido loves books. She loves the feeling of being whisked away into another world, and books inspire her imagination. Genre-wise, she mainly likes fantasy and sci-fi, but she'll never turn down a good mystery novel.

-She's very insecure about her leadership role in the Dan because she feels like a leader should be someone who attracts the attention of the group. Because of this, she often tries to be loud and bold, but doesn't always succeed.

-The reason Kido always wears headphones is because she has sensory issues with her ears. Essentially, she's unable to tune things out and the headphones help her. (This hc is based off of what I experience. If you want to see for yourself what I mean, the next time you go out to a restaurant, go to class, go to work, really anywhere where there's noise, focus on hearing everything around you. Really focus. Try to listen to every conversation going on around you at once, the air conditioning, papers shuffling, everything. When it gets to be too much for you, go back to normal. I lack the ability to "go back to normal," so I usually wear headphones to help block the sound out.)

-Kido is a BEAST at Mario Kart. She makes rainbow road look easy.

-Kido has a pretty low voice for a girl. This is quite contrary to her sneezes, which sound like a pixie sneezing.

-Though she tries to act cool most of the time, deep down, she can be very childish. She loves playing silly games with the other dan members (@roomba push). When she's playing like this, she lets her walls down and really enjoys herself.

-She's not ticklish unless you get her in the right spot. If you tickle the back of her knees or the bottom of her feet, she'll melt into a puddle of laughter in your arms.

-Hibiya has accidentally called Kido mom more than once (though he'd never admit it.)

-Kido's artistic skill rivals Haruka and Shintaro's. She has a great eye for proportions.

-She prefers to paint the people she sees around her and landscapes, but sometimes she'll paint fire.

-By far her favorite medium is watercolor. She has an unusual understanding of how the water will affect the painting and how the colors will blend together. Amazingly, she can complete a watercolor painting without having any puddles on the page and without any of the annoying paintbrush hairs sticking in the paint.

-Kido's hands and feet are always blocks of ice, even in the summertime. 

-Kido is one of those people who can always wake up on time without an alarm clock. Kano and Momo are convinced that she's some sort of witch.

-The reason Kido fights so well is she and Ayano took self-defense classes together when they were younger. Afterward, Kido went into martial arts, and is a second-degree black belt.

-Obviously, Kido isn't the most expressive person. She can come off as detached and uncaring, and she hates it. Kido wishes to be more like Ayano, who can make anyone smile. 

-Kido also gets mentally worn out from talking, so she has to take breaks during the day to collect herself. 

-Kido went through a hardcore emo phase back when she was thirteen. Kano will make fun of her for it, but instantly shuts up when she mentions his emo phase.
