When I woke up on Friday I was in a great mood. I rolled over and smiled at the sun as it peeked its huge yellow whiskers into my room windows. The clock said 7:55. I sat up and took up my phone. I really want that new case, I thought as I looked on my grey iPhone cover. When I turned on my phone and entered my password, my phone had a rhythmic beep for about two minutes. As expected.
I smiled when I saw all the cute things that Andrew had texted me. The smile slightly faded when I read Kayla’s messages.
Kayla: “aye big head wake up. Mark has a point. Call me as soon as you can.” Yes I would call her just not now.
I had a shower, got dressed then did my hair. I then grabbed my keys and phone and headed downstairs.
When I got downstairs, I heard my mom talking to someone, and the voice sounded too familiar. I ended the steps to see my mom and Mark seated comfortably around the coffee table. Since we broke up, he had come over but somehow I knew this wasn’t just a regular visit. It was about Andrew. Before I had a chance to say hi mom greeted me.
“Hey darling,” she said chirpily while handing me a cup of coffee.
I took the cup and sat in front of both of them.
“Morning Mark” I said dryly.
“Morning Bree,” he answered with an annoying smirk.
“Darling,” began mom, “Mark has brought me some very disturbing news about Andrew, and I was wondering if you wanted to take a look.” She paused.
“Uhm, what is it?” I asked, slightly interested.
“Well it seems as if he is not who he claims to be.” She replied.
“And why would you assume that?”
“To be frank, it’s the only obvious answer, he has never gotten a ticket, he doesn’t have insurance and he has only been in the system as far back as five years. Before that he simply never existed.”
She set her cup down on the crystal glass table and stared into my inner being.
“Is that all?” I asked, expecting more.
“Bree your mo-“
“Shut up Mark!!” I fired back, stopping him midsentence. “I don’t know what trick you pulled to get a file on Andrew and if this is about me going out with him, just give up bro.”
“Calm down Bree,” cooed mom caressing my shoulder.
I shrugged to escape her touch and turned to her.
“He probably never got a ticket because he doesn’t need a car if he’s traveling by boat most of the time. Besides, he wouldn’t really need insurance if he worked for all those rich families fixing their yachts. So please, if you’ll excuse me I, I got to go.” I said confidently as I got up.
I scooped my keys and phone off the table finished my coffee in one gulp and walked thought he door.

Me: Am outside b
Andrew: okay sweetie come down to the waterfront area, boat number 472.
Me: Aite
As I got out of the car I called Bree to let her know I had arrived and that I had gotten her messages and would call her later. I locked my car and walked through many docked boats until I saw nothing but the unbroken blue Atlantic Ocean.
I looked both ways and I smile lit up my face when I saw Andrew standing on board a beautiful white and blue yacht that bore number 472 and the name Black Swan.
“Hey cutie: he said as he helped me on deck.
“Hey handsome” I replied and embraced him passionately.

Meanwhile, Kayla has just pulled up outside the dockyard. She parks her car a few stalls away from her best friend’s and carefully scoots out the area. She begins going through the dockyard looking for her bestie and Andrew.
There, she spotted them. She hid carefully behind a nearby boat and watched them. They were smiling and seemed very happy. Bree seemed to be enjoying herself. At that moment Andrew wrapped his arms around her neck and kissed her passionately. Uggggh thought Kayla. She took out her phone and took a picture. She zoomed enough to be able to get a clear number of the registration number on the boat. She snapped the picture and went back to her car.

Also at the same time, Thelma, is talking to Dave, about her growing suspicions of Andrew. He suggest that they be more vigilant and see what more they can find out. He was just about to invite Thelma to lunch when his office phone rang._nkeshii😘😘
