Once upon a time in a far away land there was a rich kingdom surrounded by lots of flowers. The king and queen are happy as well as the people surrounding them, except for the young prince named Axle. He was kind, smart, talented, handsome but coldhearted. He was the eldest but he was jealous with his two siblings. The second and the youngest child gets whatever they want. They can go and roam around the castle and play with the other people. It makes the eldest prince sad as he know he cannot do the same thing because he was being guarded by lots of knight as he was the one who will keep the throne of the king someday.
He tried to approach his mother queen to ask her if he can go and walk around their palace garden. It was his dream to take a closer look and touch the beautiful flower outside the castle. It was like he was being called by those beautiful plants.
He tried and tried until he gets the chance.
"Mother queen, can I go outside the castle?"-ask the prince
"Why do you want to go outside the castle my prince? Isn't it wonderful here inside?"- said the queen
"I just want to go and see the beautiful flower outside"- he said straightly
The queen just smiled and nodded at him. He looks so excited as he run through the hallway of the castle. The maids and the guards are being surprised as this was the first time they so the prince to act like this.
His footsteps become slower until he stop when he reach the door of the palace. It made him scared because it was his first time to see the world outside his castle. He hold his breath and smiled as he walk slowly and spread his arms as if the cold breeze are hugging him. He closed his eyes and listen to the lovely sound of the wind and the chirping sound of the bird. Everything turns into a slow motion until he remembered one thing, the flowers. As he open his eyes, a beautiful red flower caught his attention.
"Come here little prince, come near me" he heard the flower talking.
At first, the prince think of running away while screaming but there is a strong power that keep on pulling him towards the flower. Until he found himself standing in front of it.
"Don't be afraid prince, I'm a friend", he heard the flower said.
"How can a flower talk?!" he ask nervously.
"A flower? ow. I am not a flower" The prince was surprised when a tiny little girl walks out of the petals while looking at him and smiling.
"Do I scared you? don't be scared, as what I've said a while ago, I am a friend"- said the tiny little girl.
"Your size is like my index finger! How can you expect me to be not scared?!"- the prince said hysterically.
"I'm a fairy. I always look at you while hiding here in the flowers"- said the fairy happily. The prince pinch himself to check if he was just hallucinating.
"Am I asleep?"- the prince asked to himself while looking at the blue sky.
"No you are not"- said the fairy as she fly and tried to sit in the prince forehead. The prince was scared and run inside the castle. He convinced himself that it was just a hallucination and he was just imagining lots of things.
The prince didn't think of going out of the castle anymore. the fairy scared him so much. Until the snow falls down and the wind started to became strong.
He sit near the window to watch the snow falls until his eyes glance at the flower, but this time, its not the flower who caught his attention, the little fairy who looks sick and hugging herself because of the coldness.
The prince blink his eyes to check if he see it correctly. He was convinced that he is not just hallucinating that day.
It was a real fairy.
