Deku's Fall to Darkness

Chapter 17

With the betrayal of Izuku, Uraraka, and Jirou class 1-A had become a laughing stock to the class 1-B. One of the comments that was most said was "We may have less combat experience but at least we don't have traitors. Class 1-A began feeling worse and worse as the next sports festival was approaching. The class was training but was still worried due to the thought of who could be the next traitor. The next few days went on as normal. Then the firt day of the sports festival came the first event started out as a battle royale where all second years would start in an enlarged arena and try to eliminate the others until 40 remained. Of course all of class 1-A made it and many from 1-B. The highlight of it was when Bakugou and Todoroki teamed up to cause an explosive tornado of fire and ice they called elemental nuke which eliminated about 40 of the 100 students. The second round was a game of capture the flag in two teams of 20 whatever team won would move onto the battle tourney and of course it was a hard fought victory but Todoroki and Bakugou once again teaming up to get most of the flag captures for their team. Then came the fighting tourney where the battles were similar to last year just longer and new moves in the semi-finals it ended up being
Todoroki vs Kirishima and Bakugou vs Kaminari. The fight with Kirishima was easy for Todoroki until Kirishima's quirk had a spike in power that was causing him to take no damage all Todoroki was able to do was slow him down. Until finally Kirishima charged now effortlessly moving through the ice but Todoroki used the momentum of the charging boy to create an ice field that caused him to slide out of the ring. Whereas Bakugou was seemingly playing with Kirishima who was slowly being drained as Bakugou managed to dodge the electricity and then when he was drained he got kaminari to walk out by asking him to. So the finals were going to be held the mext day and it would be Todoroki versus Bakugou. Everyone was ready for an intense battle between two students who would seemingly be top rated heroes in the future.

The villians watched the festival from the hideout. "It's not surprising it is Kachan versus Todoroki." Midoriya smiled as he knew they would be attacking during the finals to make a statement but it would only be if the traitor had already set up the entrance for them. Shigaraki was more worried about this due to it being a stadium of pro heros and heros in training but he couldn't deny the Izuku was ballsy.

The day came for them to attack the festival but before hand Izuku's father had to talk to the boy. "Izuku I am here to awaken your final quirk I bestowed upon you at my fake death." He touched the head of Midoriya. Midoriya felt a rush of power as he began trying to figure out what it did. "Before you ask this quirk is called Shadow Dance. What it does is it allows the user to manipulate the area around the user to create illusions such as the ability to disappear from sight. I believe it will be a beneficial quirk for this mission." Izuku's father said to the boy who looked in awe as he felt like he would be invincible now. "Thank you Father." Izuku begins to leave as All for One smiles seeing his son off to kill some heroes.

Izuku meets up with his team for the mission. The faces are easily known to him so he smiles at Jirou and Uraraka happy to see they will be with him. He felt a strange fighting ambition from Uraraka and noticed the knives layed out in random areas of her new villian costume. Jirou seemingly only had a gun and knife. He assumed she was planning on being more of a stealth agent in this fight. Izuku in his suit smiled as he realized there was more padding throughout the suit and had a case with it that contained a mask for the boy. It looked like a respirator that was see through but looked alright with his suit as he noticed it change colour to the red and black of his suit. "Damn that is cool." He grinned gripping his knife that he had sharpened. He had also brought something wrapped in cloth that he put on his back. "What's that Deku?" Uraraka and Jirou both asked. Izuku put a finger to his mouth as he activated Shadow Dance to hide the object. Already surprised at how natural the quirk was he decided that he would focus it more to make it less noticeable in general. He succeeded and they went to the festival. When they arrived in the designated place the door was already open. He was surprised and knew he would have to get a hold of the traitor for his future squad their help would be invaluable.
When they got in they waited for the match to start, the 3 villians looked at each other knowing they had been here last year and Izuku had also fought both of those people in the ring. Then their moment came when Bakugou using a move that caused the ring to break apart and sending Todoroki out of bounds. Just as they announced Bakugou as the winner a chunk of rubble from his explosion came flying at the boy. "Bakugou. Congratulations old friend." Midoriya walked in slowly clapping, immediatly Bakugou was charging Izuku who easily dodged with his lightning then pulled out his knife and wrapped his arms around the boys neck and held the knife there. "Now now Bakugou that's not how you greet an old friend is it?" He let Bakugou go and used one for all at 5% power to punch the boy several meters away. "We just came to make a statement that I AM HERE!" The boy then with pinpoint accuracy shot a shockwave into the skull of a civilian whose skull proceeded to explode covering bystanders in blood and gray matter. Then All-Might was in the arena with Izuku. "MIDORIYA I AS A HERO AM NOT ALLOWED TO LET YOU LEAVE HERE WITHOUT BEING ARRESTED!" Izuku smiled. "As if you have a choice." He snapped and out came Jirou and Uraraka who nobody recognized. They then began attacking people Jirou with the help of Izuku seemingly teleporting to kill and Uraraka had gone to Bakugou and proceeded to begin fighting him. All-Might charged the young Izuku and prepared to 100% punch flurry him. Izuku responded in kind with a move he had designed "ONE FOR ALL METEOR BARRAGE." With every punch a black flame erupted burning All-Might as he clashed with his former apprentice and current successor. The symbol of peace was starting to fail when a gout of flame hit Izuku in the face. It came from a now pissed of Todoroki. Izuku backed up "Girls I think we have made our statement." With that he hid their presence using Shadow Dance.

That night the media covered what was from then on known as the Festival of Destruction. This would be the last U.A sports festival. All-Might knew now that his former apprentice was beyond salvation. As he pushed himself to try and extend his time limit and power output so he could hopefully end Izuku.

When the 3 villians returned Uraraka was injured from her fight with Bakugou who had managed to lose to her but Jirou would spend the next few hours throwing up due to not being used to killing people. The media had given Izuku his title of
