The Chronicles of Sera Regin

Chapter One

I stood standing in the sand watching the waves go back and forth. I always found the waves relaxing even when I was a little girl I would sit down on the sand and just think as I stared out into the deep blue ocean. Just like I'm doing now thinking of the future and how much I've changed since from being a rebellious teenager into a mature yet still a little bit of a rebel young woman. After I went to college to get a degree in writing and history even though I preferred music to anything else. College is also where I met my husband, Alex, he was studying music, as to how we met you ask? Well ill tell you ''it was early fall in my second year of classes I was studying in the quad with my red curly hair surrounding my face as I read an intense book on the French revolution. Then there was a shadow blocking the sun so I looked up and found my two best friends staring at me, Genevieve and Eleanor Grayson their identical twins so they both had wavy black hair with pink highlights and stunning amber eyes with dark red lips they were about 5ft 6 while I was 5ft 5. We've been friends since primary school and with the three of us we gave the teachers hell both in primary and high school we were always in detention we were always pranking people with the three us we-we had the best grades in our year we all had our strong points and our weak points so we helped each other, see my strong points are biology, history, art and English my weak points are gym and maths Gen's strong points are gym, art, and physics while her weak points are maths, English, and history Ella's strong point are maths, chemistry, legal studies, psychology, and art while her weak points are history, English, and gym. What we had in common besides pranking people and getting into trouble is that we love dancing, acting, and music but the music the most. Everyone always called us The Celestials we had a weird obsession with stars. Every time we had pulled a prank we would leave stars and our code names, I was Mystic Red, Gen was Star Fire and Ella was Galaxy Pheonix. Soon everyone knew about the celestials. I blinked out of the zone that I was in to see that Ella had my book in her hand I asked her ''Ella why do you have my book?'' ''Sera were you listening to Gen and I when we were talking to you?'' Ella asked I shook my head sideways meaning no ''Don't you ever listen to us Sera'' Gen said ''I always listen I just have a lot of stuff on my mind right now'' I said ''Is your mother still telling you to give up on your music dream'' Ella said ''Yeah. do you know what she did'' ''No. what did she do'' The twins said and asked '' She burnt my guitar smashed my keyboard and she tore up half my lyric books" by now we were halfway across the quad by now and I asked them "Where are we going" they replied "We are taking you to see a friend of ours he heard you singing the other day in the library and he really wants to meet you'' '' Sorry guys I'm done with music I can't have anything to do with it anymore. Also, you guys might want to take this I don't need any more'' I said as I got my final lyric book out of my bag and handed it to them. They were startled at what I had given them I turn to leave but the twins said ''Sera we can't take this-this is yours .it wouldn't feel right taking it from you '' I turn back around and faced them and said '' I can't take this back my mum would just burn it or she would shred it. Guys, she found out about the band in high school and she's really angry that I went behind her back.'' ''How the hell did she find out" "I don't know. But I do know that my mother had people following me in high school that might be how she found out. Ella Gen, please take this book I don't want my mum destroying it as well please just take it." I turned to leave the girls but instead, I ran straight into someone knocking all of our books to the ground. I noticed the person I ran into was a guy with light blond hair and gorgeous brown eyes, I've ever seen in my life also I noticed he was really tall. I bent down to pick up all of my books that I dropped, he was already picking up his books, I noticed that one of my books had fallen open, I went to pick it up but was beaten by the guy. Only then I realized what book had fallen open. My lyric book. As he picked it up he started to flick through my book. I really wished he didn't do that.'' why would you wish that I wouldn't look through your book. these songs are amazing did you write them'' I turned to Ella and gen and found them gone I turned back to the mystery guy. I must have looked kind of confused because he said '' you were thinking out loud. So that's how I knew what you were thinking of''' ''Oh right I do that sometimes'' ''Everyone does it once in a while. Just look at me I talk to myself all the time. Like the other day I was in the library listening to music and then I heard this most amazing voice and I said to myself I wanna find this person who has this most amazing voice so you know what I did I taped it'' '' what made you tape the person that was singing'' '' I taped it because they had the most amazing voice I have ever heard. Did you want a listen?'' '' um sure ill listen'' I said really unsure, I was in the library the other day could it have been me that he taped. It couldn't have been. I was cut out of my thoughts when the recording started playing, and no doubt about it, it was my voice, it was one of the songs that I wrote when I was in high school the time when everything in my life seemed to be falling apart, the time where the only ones there for me were Gen and Ella. I started to realize that the stranger and I  were gaining a crowd by the recording, everyone was memorized with the recording. The moment that everyone had been so enthralled by the recording was all ruined by people running after yelling at two people, two people that have black hair and pink highlights, two people that I classed as my best friends. Gen and Ella zoomed passed me and the guy I was with. I yelled out '' what did you guys do this time'' '' we might offset a firecracker off I the deans office'' they both said as they came to a stop and turned to face me, I noticed that there out of breath and they had a pink tinge to their cheeks. '' here go hide in my dorm and ill text you when the wind dies down'' I threw them my keys to my dorm one of them caught it, as soon as they had the keys they went zooming off towards my dorm. '' well that was interesting'' the guy said '' not really they've done worse'' '' how so'' ''they hacked into the p.a system back in high school while the principal was having an affair on his wife'' '' that is something'' '' yeah but when you grow up with them it doesn't really phase you that much about what they get up to'' '' that must have been nice to grow up with them'' '' it was but it wasn't, my mum never really liked them much she thought they had a bad influence on me. So how do you know Gen and Ella?'' I asked '' oh Gen and Ella are in my music class'' '' that must be hellish for you. I'm Sera, by the way, Sera Reign.'' '' it is trust me. I'm Alex. Alex Wolfhart'' I laughed when he told me his last name I didn't mean to it just came out. '' hey don't laugh at my name'' Alex said '' I'm sorry I don't mean to but I just can't help it '' I laugh more and because of that I made him laugh as well, that day started a beautiful friendship that turned into something more. As I come back to the real world I noticed that someone had joined me, I smile as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close as a slight breeze passed though slightly my hair making it sway with the wind.
