Chapter 14

Kihyun's POV

This is so boring. 

He threw a dart, and he struck bull's eye at the first try. Ever since the fatal fight at the club almost two months ago, he had been searching high and low for a possible new location for the gang den.

He had driven around town from the crack of dawn to past midnight. He talked to numerous club owners, trying to coerce them into selling their club to him.

Why do I have to do all the dirty work?

He had long lost count of the number of times where he wanted to draw his handgun and just shoot the club owner in the face. Why do they even ask so much?

Kihyun headed for the garage. He got into his car and slammed the door shut. "Fuck them all. I'd run them over with my car if I had the chance." He buckled his seatbelt and was about to step on the accelerator when his phone rang.

"What the fuck do you want?" He snapped. If Kihyun had any virtues, patience definitely wasn't on the list. "I've got news, boss." It was Minkyun. Kihyun buried his face in his palm. The last time Minkyun was tasked to do something he fucked it up completely.

Kihyun groaned in exasperation. "If you've got news, then spill it! I'm not sitting around to wait for you to take your own sweet time." 

If there was something about Minkyun that irritated Kihyun, it was his stupidity.

"It's bad news though." For the fucking love of God.

"Look, I don't give a fuck if the news is good or bad- can you just cut the fucking crap?"

He heard Minkyun take a deep breath. Kihyun clenched his free hand into a tight fist. If he doesn't talk, I'm going to find him and pour gasoline down his throat-

"Son Hyunwoo didn't make it to Paris."

The fuck? "I didn't hire you to tell me riddles. Can't you talk like a normal human being?"

"Flight KE071 en route to Paris, the flight Son Hyunwoo was on, crashed two days ago. They haven't found any survivors."
