A Gangster's Poem

Before we start, this poem was made on August. 1, 2013. I wrote this on my notebook as a literary article for our newspaper although I don't have any idea if they used this on the newspaper since we still didn't get them.

Anyway, let's start reading.

I was once a coward but after meeting you, I always stepped forward

I used to say that this would be the end but all of this stopped ever since you became my friend

I want to return the favor back to you I'll help you pass your rough and tough problems through

I'll fight even if the world will become my fiend I'll continue the battle till the very end

I always acted like an idiot I was always the common denominator when the news is about a riot

I am nothing when I compare myself to you but you always make our friendship continue

I was once a reckless boy, a guy that would always annoy

But ever since I met the princess, the password to my soft side you can always access

Yes the 'princess' I'm talking about is you, each word of this poem is true

I may not be a modern-day knight in shining armor I don't have the characteristics that a princess like you should adore

I will always be your gangster chum If there are problems I'll surely come

A bond between a gangster and a princess is an unlikely story After reading this poem I hope your eyes aren't teary

Yep, I know I'm so amazing Just remember that I will be a friend that is caring
